Re: HDR not alingned

If the images should align exactly (by using a tripod and not hand held) then try using the "use hard links" option in the detection tab of settings If you put your 12 images a sharing platform such as Dropbox and provide the url then other people on here will probably test for you and see...

Re: APG overwrites cameras.txt alterations [SOLVED]

I seem to recall from way back when my then new Canon wasn't on the list that you have to copy the Kolor supplied list in the folder App Data|Kolor|Data to a new list in App Data|User|data (Windows 7) and edit that. The Kolor data is recreated on launch but the User data is only recreated if you rei...

Re: Keepview "Day/Night" effect with 3 panos [SOLVED]

I could not get this to work with the "toggle between specific panos button" plugin as described above but it does work if you use the "simple button for 1 specific pano" button plugin which can be downloaded and set up with 3 instances The xml changes are identical to the toggle...

Keepview "Day/Night" effect with 3 panos [SOLVED]

I've only just upgraded from PT to PTP (2.5 RC1) in the last week so apologies if this is a silly question I've been trying out the "Day/Night" facilities in PTP and I am using the Panorama specifc Toggle button approach whereby the tour is generated and then the _core and _skin xml files ...

Re: Panotour PTP - Upgrade Price Query

Thanks Cliquetsy for that heads-up

I contacted them directly as you suggested and managed to get the upgrade at the promotional rate - apparently the upgrade offer should have been in line anyway but hadn't been set up

Panotour PTP - Upgrade Price Query

I currently have APG4.2 and PT2.3 but was considering upgrading to PTP2.3 When I checked my account and the current price list it seems to be offering PTP to a new buyer for 299 Euro as a special offer (100 euro discount) but the upgrade price is still 300 Euro (being the difference in the 2 standar...

Re: Uploading a tour to a Wordpress site. [SOLVED]

I have a Wordpress site running on a web hosting site and use Filezilla to transfer Panotour outputs to the site and have never had any problems with it

Filezilla is a free ftp client from Mozilla (of Firefox fame)

Re: MASK not working

Like Klaus I didn't download your samples as the files were very large but I did try out a test on my own bracketed images and everything worked OK I found you need to do the following to get the anti-ghosting and HDR to work together 1. Make sure Exposure Fusion is enabled in the edit and that this...

Re: MASSIVE bug in the new version 2.1

I replicated this bug in APG 4.2.1.same as the Michael H described I tried manual controlled stacks of 5 images (taken using CHDK) and had colour correction set = AUTO and got this as soon as I used the bottom left preview button after doing the fusion Use of vignetting flag didn't make a difference...

Re: Impossible to stitch panorama

yes I understand I think - you take the same or almost the same image several times hoping to get all the background exposed that you want to keep in the overall aggregate Very "pot luck" though if the results are random in that you may get people in the same place each time - and a nightm...

Re: Impossible to stitch panorama

When I used your pano control file I got the same overlapping result and a RMS of 5.5 However, if you just select only the images that give a reasonable overlap and not all the duplicates you end up with 29 images instead of 46 and this gives a RMSM of 2.6 and a good 360 degree image So I think it's...

Re: Impossible to stitch panorama

I just downloaded your images and it stitched OK to a 360 pano of 67833 x 9639 pixels and did not do the double-wrapping that was in your example. I used APG 4.2 I did notice that 00436 and 00437 link wasn't spotted by APG and had to be added manually I also noticed that your overlap was much much t...

Re: BUG!... ?? [SOLVED]

Some time ago I showed in this forum this comparison that shows the difference in this respect between the results of Autopano and Photomatix. Well - APG is a STITCHER first hand. It´s NOT a HDR-processor, it´s NOT a RAW-processor - and it´s NOT an Espresso-machine . . or whatever you´d like it to ...

Re: BUG!... ?? [SOLVED]

That's come out very nicely ! I see, though, that you used Photomatix (as I do myself) to do the fusing so I presume you also couldn't get APG fusion to resolve the ghosting within the bracketed sets best Martin I don't think APG offers antighosting within stacks. That was my (and I think Destiny's...

Re: editing the seam on a 360 pano

I would have fixed this before stitching but there was nothing to fix at that stage !

I think I probably accidentally introduced these during editing rather than stitching. They are not major faults and not worth starting over but if it was easy to fix I would try it.

editing the seam on a 360 pano

Hi I'm not sure whether this is a simple question or tricky: I have a couple of 360 panos with full revolution where there is a slight seam where the left hand and right hand edges join. Is there a way of bringing this seam temporarily into the middle of the image just for editing purposes then putt...

Re: Difficulty creating a 360º pano in Autopano Pro 4 [SOLVED]

Are you doing any post-processing after it has come out of Autopano Pro and before input to Panotour I have had panos that lost their 360 rotation occasionally and behave like yours if you carry out editing. In particular using a "straighten" function has this effect Other than that I can'...

Re: Difficulty creating a 360º pano in Autopano Pro 4 [SOLVED]

It looks as though there is some (a little though) overlap between the extreme left and right edges of your sample so it should work OK. In the Control Point editor just select the first and last images corresponding to the edges and check there are some control points and if not select the overlap ...

Re: BUG!... ?? [SOLVED]

There is no ghosting of the images, so no ghosting between stacks.. All ghosting happens within stacks caused by poor alinement... In the options you have Fusion and Ghosting HDR.. I really do not know what Ghosting HDR does.. Why is there no Ghosting Fusion..??? Ghosting HDR does not seem to fix t...
