wjh31: I can not afford to render with wrong result. On my computer, rendering takes a week. Bracketed photos are only on the boundary of sky and forest. You certainly can. If under the render dialogue you scale down the panorama to say 10% or even smaller then the render will complete much quicker...

Is this just in the preview window or in the rendered panorama too? Are the source photos bracketed?

regarding panotour for virtual tours, here are my thoughts on some of the extra features: Gigapixel images: even if you dont currently plan on using them, its nice to have it if you want it in the future or merged with tours (ive done a 500MP crowd scene combined with tour scenes in a parade) Cube f...

I see only one that's even half readable. Im also not aware of any restriction in the uk. For comparison http://www.360cities.net/london-photo-en.html has fully, clearly readable number plates

UK nightclub tour

Recently completed a tour of a pair of nightclubs in surrey, UK ( http://www.jjwhispers.co.uk/venues.php?m=full&iVenueID=1 ). APG and PTP did a great job. Any feedback warmly welcomed.

panotour pro is able to import cube faces. If that is the version you have then you might find the poles easier to create appropriately by drawing the 6 cube faces on 6 sheets.

But as is, certainly a very unique and interesting exercise

Ive been playing with this a little more to see if i can get something a bit more solid to say. The deleted images are indeed custom graphics for e.g hotspots. They are in the same directory as the .kpt file. It doesnt seem to happen every time but rather the first time that a tour is built with a g...

spolash screen per scene

is is possible to have a splash screen or info box pop up on each scene to provide information about it without the viewer having to further click on a hotspot?

Adjust horizon level

The vertical offset is very usefull for partial panoramas which need adjusting on import. Off-level partial panoramas can also be readily leveled in an image editing program. However spherical panoramas which you notice after post-processing arnt quite level seem to be a bit trickier, is there a way...

PTP1.6.0RC3 64bit vista - source images deleted

At times PTP seems to be removing the source images used in hotspots or other graphics during the build. I do a build, make some modifications then another build and during the second or other subsequent builds PTP complains that the source image is not present, on examining the folder it is indeed ...

I used the widest lens I had, 10mmFE on canon crop, this reduced the number of seams present (6+Z,N) and therefore floating head potential. Mostly it was then left to autopano, but i rendered the panos with the source images present which allowed me to make further corrections to some areas in photo...

I guess with either the stack or the tab it could work in one of two ways. First would be to maintain the current single click point to access the thumbs, but then once opened they could be grouped, maybe into separate rows or columns with a title. This would be my preference. The alternative would ...

It would be nice to have the tooltip for hotspots to default to the panorama name rather than blank.

grouping thumbs and tours

the thumbnail stacks and tabs are great, but it would be even better to be able to group tours within them. This would allow grouping according to ground and 1st floor, interior or exterior shots, different sites, buildings etc or whatever you wanted to make navigation that little bit easier

likely because you have tried to import more images than are in the template, You have 2 extra images which youve selected which you need to remove from the selection and it should import fine

Check your various system monitoring tools to confirm that the pano is indeed still being rendered and the software hasnt frozen. This would especially be hard-disk activity. These might also let you know if there is something else such as anti virus software which is competing for resources by real...

I shot with a papywizard preset and used that to import. This allowed them to be placed by autopano according to the xml file rather than needing manual intervention. I see it now, that's quite severe. Ive not done 120mm equivilant like you have but have done 80mm equivilant sphere (50mm on canon APS-C) and didnt have any problems. Part of it might bw vignetting, but more likely check if you had color balance and exposure fixed during capture. Additionally check ...
