Hello everybody… As usual I’ve stirred controversy in forever seeking workarounds for Kolor software. I would like to offer particular thanks to Andrew, Klaus and hankkarl for your help and yes all suggestions have been followed up with, but alas no solution as yet. As regards the <iframe> versu...

For the last week my patience has been worn very thin by an office junior in Tech Support. When you spend a bucket-full of money and the product fails, and you require the assistance of Tech Support you certainly do not appreciate being jerked from pillar to post or being treated like an idiot by an...

I haven't uploaded the files to a server. When I double click on the swf file it works fine. The *.swf is being called from a web page using this code.. <div class="videoFrame"> <object width="600" height="400"> <embed src="images/panos/haysGalleria.swf" width="600" height="400" allowFullScreen="tru...

Fixed, but I certainly can't take the credit. Listed here is a copy of the email from Customer Service. Hello, When you acquire a Bing map key from the website " www.bingmapsportal.com ", you have to enter an Application URL . So I think that this key will allow you to use the Bing Map service only ...

Georg, I just had to try it and took time out to try my luck. To my amazement, I did actually get it to work with Bing Maps. Then I tried it again with another pano and got a blank side panel where the map should be. So presumably I'm making a mistake in the procedure. Where I'm making the mistake w...

Excellent stuff Georg. I really like your work. I'm pleased to hear that Bing maps work ok and that I suspect it could be a mistake I've made in the procedure. I'll leave it for a couple of days and try again. I'll keep you posted. Although I might not be able to get back to it until next weekend. W...

Anybody? No? Ok, I’ll add my thoughts on the matter. Having now had a couple of days to think about this and a chance to look at the various options available, it looks like an open and shut case. The thing about Flash is that you need to be able to draw. That’s an essential requirement. If you ...

Georg, thanks for your help. As always it’s much appreciated. I don’t know and I’m only guessing here, but I reckon OSM is a “work in progress” and as such is liable to break at any moment, when something in their system is updated. Therefore there’s every possibility that it’ll work o...

I tried adding a Bing map, and it worked. Well sort of. I got a map, but no pano. Just a huge blank space where the pano should be. A map and no pano. Wonderful. Maybe there's more going on here than just us poor users know about. As a new user to PTP I don't know if the maps were working, or how lo...

Georg, thanks for your help. That was a very good suggestion and one that I certainly wouldn't have thought of. But alas, no the trusted settings didn't make any difference. I added the folder, but still no maps displayed in the sidebar. The sidebar is there, the controls are there, even a spare hot...

Why do I get a blank sidebar and no map in Pro?

Despite watching the Maps Video Tutorial and following the instructions very carefully, I cannot get the maps to work. I get the sidebar, with the controls but it's blank. No Map? I'm not using Google or Bing, just the OpenStreeMap.

Hotspots Don't Work With Images?

I noticed somebody else posted this very same question not so very long ago.

I can't get the hotspot(s) to work with images at all. I've tried png's gif's and jpeg's. All I get is very odd behaviour.

Any solutions?

Klaus, it didn't take me long to figure out just what I need to do, and you've confirmed my suspicions. However, I've just spent the last hour trying to upgrade my basic software to Autopano Giga & Panotour Pro. Which is probably what I should have bought in the first place. But all is not lost as t...

What's happened to the Upgrade Process?

I've just spent the last hour trying to upgrade my basic software to Autopano Giga & Panotour Pro. But every time I click to buy, I get taken to My Account page. What's going on here? Is there something happening here that I'm not aware of?

Klaus, another question? What pano software are you using. There's very little distortion at the edges and it's very impressive.

Klaus, your panos are fantastic. The quality and design are superb. One question: how did you get the hotspot like that? What's the secret to a hotspot like yours?

What's the generally acceptable minimum *.swf fully self contained file size these days? That can be embedded in a web page/site? If I go for a file size of say 1.5mb, will that be acceptable? Smaller or bigger?

A word of warning We’re all capable of amazing stupidity from time to time, but thankfully – or hopefully – we soon realise our mistake and do what we can to limit the damage. Sometimes though it’s not that easy, and the fallout takes a little more effort to rectify. I followed Hans Keesomâ€...

I’m afraid I have to agree with Mediavets. A slide show on a web page also in *.swf format to accompany a panorama would complement the panorama. Especially as I have a need for it, with the project I'm currently working on. I was going to say I’m amazed that the functionality hasn’t already b...

Panotour needs JPEG Slide Show functionality – with player controls.

I need to put together a simple jpeg slide show. A very minor task and something you would expect to be easily accomplished in Panotour. But you’d be wrong. I can’t find a way of doing it no matter how much I tried. Unless of course I’m missing something here? Is there a plugin for instance? O...
