Re: Panotour Video? [DONE]

The template from 360heros is a krpano template. You don't need that template to be able to do krpano, just go @ krpano website directly. The issue with 360 video is not on the player only, but on the tools associated. You need several technologies: - hotspots editor : It should allow you to place h...

Re: iPAD Panotour viewer [SOLVED]

There is a trick in panotour that allows to export all tiles for mobile too, but that means that you can pan and see black zone in case of partial panorama. I don't know the trick, but Gerald does. Need to wait for him to finish his holidays.

Re: Stitching

RMS value comprehension is complicated. But there are a few rules that you need to follow: * Do not rely too much on it as it can gives you a false impression of good. As I have said several timse, it is possible to have a RMS of 0 just by taking 2 images, put randomly a single CP on these 2 images ...

Re: to bright in APG

One note: you have color correction enabled on the panorama. If the color reference is the bright image, the other images will try to match that exposure, raising automatically the panorama exposure to something bright. Try to play to color correction: http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/view/Usi...

Re: Still having issues using the optimizer having many shot

I'll be at Photokina for sure. We'll have a nice booth there. I didn't found any issue with that stitch, seems ok for me. The subject should be stitcheable is a single click as the content is not that pattern repetitive. With the xml, it should work out of the box. If not, we need to investigate tog...

Re: Still having issues using the optimizer having many shot

I didn´t suceed so far deleting CPs of more than RMS2 globally in 3.6.1. When i set "only CPs below 2" the CPs don´t change at all . Only when i do it manually in the CP-editor i´m able to achieve a RMS ofbelow 2 or one . . . If you want to get a super RMS, it is easy. 2 ways to do it: * ...

Re: Still having issues using the optimizer having many shot

Klaus, I didn't really get your post. What is the question?
- Do you want us to test a case and see what is right / wrong with the stitching of it ?
- If there is a regression between 3.0.8 and 3.6, do you want us to check that ?

Best

Re: Spherical GPU Render - Kicks to CPU for >8k output

I agree with you Jason. For the moment, it was easier to have such hardcoded limitation. But the goal for the long run solution is to manage directly the GPU memory in a clever way, so if the gpu has enough memory and has huge texture, AVP will allow the rendering. But such feature is not as easy to...

Re: Different pano results depended on zoom in a window ?

We may have found something lately that could be the same at the described issue:
A bug that only happens in case of fisheye pictures which are not full frame. We are still investigating.

Re: save intermediate image(s)

This can be done with the software. Instead of rendering the panorama, you just need to render individual images that are warp to match the geometric registration. Rendering dialog box, uncheck panorama, check image : http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/view/Autopano_-_Panorama_Editor_-_Render_to...

Re: APG 3.6.2 generates wrong panorama.

Aero, We have a cache system that does cache original images during one session. If you edit an image outside of autopano and want the modification to be reflected in autopano, you need to tell autopano to reload original files. That's done through the contextual menu in the layer editor or through ...

Re: APG 3.6 - Editor grid markings not displayed...

Probably because of the projection mode. If you are in spherical projection, it is linear, the distance between 2 lines, horizontally, vertically. On rectilinear, it isn't.

I did try to have a really short fov panorama with your settings. It works.

Re: APG 3.6 - Editor grid markings not displayed...

In fact, in your screencopy, we can see the secondary grid, not the primary, as the field of view of the panorama is too small. Your panorama is -6° / +6° and the primary grid steps are 15°, so the grid itself will only display at -15°, 0°, +15°. You can still see the secondary grids on the screensh...
