Re: Ghosting Issue

Hi Track
Ghosts -> Ghostbusters ! Fun aside ;)
I couldn't see any ghosts in this preview.
Maybe it's a little bit of stitching errors because of hand-held shooting or parallax errors ?

Re: Color Correction Anchors

No, the color correction tool is automated and works over all images to adjust these.
You can't adust single images.

Re: once again - for the 12th time:

Hi Klaus
This looks good and as usual.
So we loose the EXIFs somewhere while uploading/downloading them in the ZIP.

Re: once again - for the 12th time:

Hi Klaus
Below You see the missing EXIFs in your posted files.
If this are originals, I'm not shure if this have no issue.
If not we have done an other test if APG works only with the XML-infos. It does ;)

Re: once again - for the 12th time:

Hi Klaus There is something not clear. If I'm looking into my Nikon-D800 images there is a lot of EXIF information stored, in NEFs and also in JPGs. Even when I use a manual old lens and set it's aperture and focal length this is written into the EXIF datas. The files You have uploaded have nothing ...

Re: nikon 10.5 shaved

If it is set to off the 10.5 must be treated as a 10.5 otherwise as a 16mm. Should that not solve the problem? The DX-automatic in the D800 has nothing to do with the lens identification. If you set manually a image field like FX, 1.2 or DX this information unfortunately will not be stored in the E...

Re: Can't fix vignetting

I tried using "Auto" and "None" in Color Correction. Both yielded the vignetting look. Hi This image link is broken. There are more settings inside the color correction than auto and none ;) If you right-click on an image there is a context menu with multiple settings. In your c...

Re: nikon 10.5 shaved

Hi
With this file, APG can identify a lens.
It dosen't contain distortion parameters.
They are calculated in APG.

Re: once again - for the 12th time:

Hi all I try out these two downloads from Klaus also on Win7x64 with APG 3.0.8 (64bit). And it's clear that there is something misterious in this papywizard module ! But who wonders: it's logo is the hat from Merlin ;) My first try was with my general settings for testing giga-panos and end up in a ...

Re: nikon 10.5 shaved

Hi Harry
If you like to play around you can edit the lensid.txt in the User folder.
You find it here:
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Kolor\Autopano Giga XX\User\Data\... .
But you will get wrong lens distortion correction and a bad stitching if you push it to a wrong focal length.

Re: once again - for the 12th time:

Hi Klaus But I can't reproduce this "fisheye"-bug !? On my Win7x64-machine the papywizard import your images as it should - as standard lens with 20mm focal lenght. The only problem I could find ist this funny thing with wrong FOV and focal lenght if I rotate the images just in the importe...

Re: once again - for the 12th time:

Hi Klaus What I will say with this is that it seems that there is going something wrong in the papywizard import tool when rotating there the landscape images. The resulting FOV and calculated focal length in APG are totally wrong. When importing without rotating them, these values are ok but the pa...

Re: once again - for the 12th time:

Hi I try out something with the papywizard import module and found a funny thing: The two images above are in landscape orientation but you shoot them in portrait orientation. It's because you have deactivated the camera inclination sensor. Now if I rotate them directly into the papywizard module th...

Hi Klaus For selecting the images in Papywizard Module do you use the system fileexplorer or the one of APG ? I have seen that there is a new option in the settings "Allgemein - Thema" where we can select this. I use always the system fileexplorer. Then there is an Option while installing ...

Re: once again - for the 12th time:

Hi Klaus Have you done some edits in the lensid.txt or cameras.txt in the Kolor/Data or USER/DATA folder? Is your 20mm listed in lensid.txt? Hi Klaus
I have copied the code example above and delete pict 3 - 24.
It seems to work properly on Win7x64 with APG 3.0.8

I have no clue how to attach a xml-example. Xml will not be accepted to upload in this forum!

Re: Can't fix vignetting

Hi Track
Do you use the color correction in APG ?
How you set the reference images ?
Easiest way is to show us a screenshot of the editor window in Color Correction mode to explain this

Re: nadir stitching problem

Hi Thomas Could be that the paralax error of the hand-held nadir shot is to big to be stitched well. For manual panoheads like the nodalninja there are nadir-adapters to avoid this problem. If you shoot hand-held you should take care to get near the right position with the camera. Then you get not p...

Re: nadir stitching problem

Hi Thomas If you shoot the nadir hand-held you get there a little bit of paralaxe error. So it's important that you can fit the nadir image as good as possible in the rest of the pano, else you can see the errors on the tile like in the example above. Try to set the CPs manually on the nadir image u...

Re: nadir stitching problem

Hi Thomas In this case you should check that there are no CPs on the panohead self. If the head is visible in the images, APG sometimes set some CPs on it. But because it rotates you get stitching errors. A second problem can be that you have a tile pattern on the floor. It's not easy to find corres...

Re: Support for MacBook Pro Retina

Hi all Now I'm confused! Is now the user interface in APG the problem on retina displays or is it the visualization of the resulting panoramas on these displays?
