Hi
Use the "multiple viewpoint" option in the optimization settings
and look for the correct focal lenght and lens type (seems to be a WW at 24mm equiv.)
Then you get a good result.

Hi How did you convert the NEFs to TIFF ? I use the same camera/lens and methode for a lot of 360s and never have had this problem. I convert the NEFs with NX2 or PS to TIFF 8 or 16 bit. Then the correct "fisheye"-settings were selected automatic. In the bad example I see "no controll points" and "l...

Hi Netline As I wrote above, the biggest problem are these control points on the Nodal head itself. You get them because the autodetection see this nice pattern and think that it's a good idea to set some CP's there. But it isn't a good idea because the Nodal head is rotating! If you delete these CP...

Hi netline With this new set now it looks like below. To shoot 4 Nadir Images is a little bit uncommon. But you can get a good stitching result anyway ;) The Problem is that you get a lot of control points direct on the Nodal Ninjas head (and this is rotating!). Delete them and then the stitching wi...

Hi
Have you try out the "search Folder" function in the file menu ?
There you have several settings about the panos.

Hi
I also shooting with the AF Fisheye Nikkor 16mm f2.8D on a D3X and never had to set the lens type manually or "de-fishing" (!) it before the import.
I get the best stitching results with this lens.

Hi This change to "fisheye" is the reason for this problem, if you don't shot with a fisheye. It's a completely different projection. Set the lens type manually to "normal" when importing the images, then it works. When editing images first in a external software, you should preserve the EXIF inform...

Hi
How did you use the nadir adapter ? Externaly and for both nadir and zenit ?
If so you have different viewpoints for nadir or both and should set this in APG well.

The Gigapan import module uses the EXIF orientation tag if exist, and works properly with portrait orientated images.
I use it always with portrait oriantation without problems.

Did anybody looked at the link to gigapan.com? maybe it isn't due to vignetation? Hi Nice panorama. The banding on the left side looks clearly like vignetting. With most lenses you have visible vignetting up to f16. And APG don't correct vignetting at the moment. Depending on how the blender settin...

Using "automatic" as lens correction-model i never had a major issue - but: how would i know having one? I haven't one also - until now, when I'm using an unusual lens like this 55-300mm zoom. What should I do with a "conical" panorama? I've tried minimum 30 different ways of settings with and with...

One for the lower ground and ghosts, one for the upper sky and clouds ;)
