this particular one is based on one row but most of my pics I try and have at least two rows just for better pixel count and higher res. I got to thank you for the tutorial you put me onto ,I used it on this pic and improved the sky quite a bit. I have been taking pics of mt. Rainier and that is the...
Really nice work, I especially like the one of the black houses with red trim at the end of a fjord or lake. It reminds me of my home where I grew up in Alaska. I can't be to critical because I have an awful lot to learn myself. That beeloba guy is very helpful in helping one to get better results w...
thank you for the links, they should really help me out. it is great to be able to see what will happen when you know the proper steps to follow. Even though I didn't understand the French it was very helpful to view a tutorial and see the steps ,as I don't know what some of the termenology means. M...
as far a earthquakes go , my family lives in Alaska for many years. In the 1964 quake I can remember that day like it was yesterday. My dad is a very happy go lucky guy and that was the most serious looking I have ever seen him. We could hardly stand on our feet. We had a lot of hay in our pole barn...
you are going to have to forgive me but I don't know exactly what you are talking about when you say anchors. I would love to have you tell me how to make things better, and no I don't mind. I have clicked on the little lock anchors before but I don't know what exactly they are suppose to do. If the...
Thanks for offering the help. I probably will get photoshop in the future, but right now with the economy going nuts I am putting the the purchase on hold as it is quite an expensive program. I do have aperture for fixing a few things but from what I have seen of photoshop it is much better.
I am just starting to do it because I don't have a super wide angle lens. I take a couple of rows of pictures and throw them in to app and if you have been careful by using a pano head you can end up with a superior picture. (a) make sure the pano head is level (b) point the camera up a bit so that ...
I don't have photoshop, wish I did,but my computer skills are minimal at best and it sounds like that program might be a challenge to learn especially for an old fart like me
I could not believe that app could actually stitch this mass of humanity so good. The picture composition is not that great , but it is very interesting to me that app pro could fix so many moving hands, heads, and moving bodies. It is one thing to stitch a stationary city or object ,but when app re...
wow, I love this pano! The sky looks great with the contrast of the clouds . It sounds like you are a lot more technical informed than i am ,but I really enjoy all of the textures of this pano. I would like to see another one like this with a bit more foreground. great job!!
This is early morning Rainier shot and the same shot of Lk. Union only I cropped out the ship canal bridge just because it is to big of a pic. Both shots were taken with a canon powershot S2 just using a tripod and rotating the camera. The Mt. shot was 12 shots and the long one with the canal bridge...
The bad stitch in the wave trail left by the boat can be easily fixed, just make a selection around some of it, copy and paste to a new layer, move the center crosshair to either side of the wave, and then rotate so it fits. Merge layers and fix up any tiny artifacts with clone/heal brushes. For me...
boat pic was taken with a canon rebel 50 mm using a panasorus head , the second pic was hand held using a powershot S2is canon using the auto settings.
I just used a tripod and rotated . i guess I was far enough away it didn't make much difference although the ship was moveing in the current and it didn't stitch perfectly. the top pic was 8 frames the bottom one 12 . My camera at the time was a Canon point and shoot so I can't tell you what the foc...
