unless you take the Merlin vertical arm apart from the horizontal base

I had to power down the N800 to recover. I have had the same effect with 2.1.18 and 2.1.9 on N810, more often when I cancelled a sh...

no that is a misunderstanding ...
the plug of my cord is too long (ca 3.3cm), so the cam can't turn around
I try to find a cord with a 90° plug

If you run APP with GPU activated, try what happens if you disable GPU.

Make sure, that you have the latest graphics driver on your PC.

upward looking multi-row panos of tree limbs and sky. So the the unit does need to be able to tilt straight up and ideally back over...in other words as if tilting one's head from ground level, to straight up, to bending over backwards. Does the Merlin head move in such a way? The Merlin is able to...

the autopano offer is a complete package of the components you need - not a new panohead until now more than 185 people have managed to setup a Merlin buying the stuff from different sources for a perfect mounting of your cam on a Merlin I recommend to exchange or modify the original crown / arm combo
