I am running a Sony VAIO notebook with a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 video card and 2 gig of ram. I have purchased a new custom build i7 PC but it has been a real lemon back for repair about 5 times and over the 2 months that I have had it all I have done is load software.

Different results with GPU

When GPU is activated I get a blank section top and bottom of the image.
See below. Also crashes a lot with GPU activated?

GPU Detection

Hope this is not a dumb question.
I just upgraded to autopano giga.
Is GPU detection automatic?
If yes it does not appear to have detected my graphics card, it is a ASUS EAH4830 (ATI) card.
Any help appreciated.

Which blender? Which color corection mode (LDR, HDR, none?)
none

What anchors do you use?
I am new to Autopano, not sure what you mean by "anchors"

This could be caused by vignetting.
If I convert one of the resultant images I don't have the problem??

Maual focus? Yes

Manual exposure? Yes

Custom WB? Set in RAW (will check as I sometimes forget) Should this matter as the seam is actually up the center of an image?)

Does the same problem exist if you do the QT conversion with Pano2VR rather than Pano2QTVR? Yes exactly the same. You are outputting a separate layer for each bracket step from APP? Yes seperate layer for each bracket step. Can you show us a screenshot of the overlaps in your pano from the pano Edit...

Thanks very much for the prompt replys. I need the images as a .hdr for 3D illumination. The problem is not post processing, not doing any. I can stitch a single group of the bracketed set in Autopano and not have the problem. It is only when I stitch a bracketed group in one operation as per http:/...

Stitching HDRI

Hi When I stitch 3 sets of photos bracketed at +- 2 stops, then blend them in Photomatrix, After converting to a QTVR I get a colour mismatch where they join, see below. The problem is not with Photomatrix because the problem is still there if I use only one of the three stitched exposures and don't...

Thanks for that I have a reasonable understanding of HDR photography and have combined exposures to produce a jpg or tiff file but have not come across a .hdr file that is used for lighting. I have not been able to find out exactly what a backplate file is, is it the full 360° rendered image or port...
