Hi, Ive gotten round to setting up my merlin at nodal points (Previously only shot landscapes at infunity). Andrew, Seems as if Gkaefer has a similar problem. I realise that There were fewer images than in the xml but 3 became corrupted when attempting a second pass at the set of images. Will watch to see what transpires (Still Beta)

Hi, I'm not sure if this has been reported but in Autopano Pro version 2.5 Beta on a windows XP 2 gb memory-
When importing with papywizard xml file - The images load BUT no preview is shown. After some time the finish button is activated and when selected the app works normally.

Great Pano. In fact I think that there are three great panos in the one shown. Exposure on the sun is excellent and the other areas as well. Very easy to become imersed in the image and become part of it. Have you looked at dividing the pano into maybe two so that the proportions are closer to about...

Judy, I enjoyed your panos of the badlands. Great colour and nice bright exposurs. I would have liked to explore the horsetheif canyon image more as it reminds me of a range of mountains in Australia (The Bungle Bungles- Google earth, Bungle bungles). As a preference I appreciate a planar panorama b...

Manny and takeo, My camera has been converted with an 720nm filter. I found that with the external screw on filters the composition and exposure times unacceptable. Even with the external IR filter (of whatever range, 640, 720 800 etc) you still have the manufacturers internal IR filter to contend w...

GURL and Takeo. Gurl, Thank you for your contribution. I tried out your method and found the affect that repositioning the centre point has on a pano. I think with the combination of both yours and Takeo's approach the pan can be saved. I wonder if my technique in capturing the images in the first p...

Takeo, I follow your explaination and have corrected the image as per your advice. Thank for that. i will nedd to be more careful when shooting in the future. Takeo, Thanks for the advice. Yes it does look more realistic and it shows my lack of skill with photoshop. Can you post the method you used to change the roofline. I only have photoshop CS and when I try the distort, perspective etc I change the horozontal road. The advice is appreciated

Power and dominance

Travelling across the wheat belt of South Australia, one dominant feature are the silos that are at every rail head. I tried to capture their dominance and a feeling of power they hold when close. A little post colour work on a 15 shot hand held pano,to strengthen the mood. Does it work?

Hi hendrik, Please accept the following views as my personal ones and also that they come from a person not necessarily expert at photography. Technically It looks like you have achieved a good stitch and particularly on the second image, a good exposure since shooting into the sun. Not being able t...

On the few ocassions That I have travelled to west coast locations I find that it take me some time to get accustomed to the ocean being on the left and therefore my sence of direction is sometimes askew. I found this particularly noticeable on the west coast of USA when trying to orient myself if I...
