I took this using a sony nex-5. The camera isn't my favorite, but the tilting lcd screen made it v easy to take the shots for this. The stones in the foreground are about 1" (2.5 cm) in diameter, the rocks further out are about 12' high. I took the photos with the camera about an inch off the beach...

I should have thought it was on north in an uninhabited places. I can imagine that sometimes it's difficult to live there especially in winter but you are lucky Snaefell to work and live there. Its not as hard, as many people think. Especially the western part of Iceland is blessed by a part of the...

Snaefell , As usual it a great panorama. ! :) Thanks. Always nice to see, that other people like the own panos as well. I didn't used to vertical panorama but in that case it really nice. I don't do this very often as well, but sometimes this is the format of choice. The Milky way is clear and star...

This is a nice panorama. Probably a bit shore in the foreground would be nice, but I am not really sure about it.

Such upgrade path is permanent : it's just the difference of price ( for current version of APP and current version of APG ). We do sometimes good prices on upgrades from an old version of APP to the current APG. It doesn't seems that was the question asked. My question is, if the time for the lowe...

One question: How much time do I have to decide, if I want to buy the upgrade version from APP to APG?

I agree; more sky/clouds would have been nice. I have to force myself to think ahead; I still think in terms of a single row. Also, when you're on the top of the world, your natural tendency is to look down, not up (or out). Still learning. Although some people will disagree, but it is perfectly po...

Now that I've finally got around to getting a license for APP, I thought I'd share my first creation that is even slightly worthy of showing you folk - bear in mind it was -16 centigrade, and no tripod (as bits of me were freezing at a rapid rate!) - 6 images in a 3x2, cleaned up with DxO first, th...

Sorry for being unclear. I think plugin fits better. There is the possibility to use some plugins before you render your pano. Neutralhazer to remove dust is one example. Get yourself a trialversion of APG and try it.

The filters only exist for APG.

Hot places

Hi, finally I found some time to finalize an number of panos, which I have taken in december 2010. They are all taken close to each other, the geothermal field and the lake only 3-4km away and belong to the same geothermal system. The first pano shows new hot springs at the beach of Lake Kleifarvatn...

Don't make it smaller than it is. You have to be there at the right time and at the right place and capture the scene.
