Not sure if it was appreciated manipulating others photos, but since someone else did it, I thought I'd have a go. Ich have no problems with that. As long as you are not hand them around as "your" photos. Its often easier to show a picture than to write a long text. Here it is with some curves adju...

It's quickly made, just to make you understand what I mean. I think that for that sort of landscapes, vivid colours are a better choice. May be you won't appreciate, you're right to think by your own and not to find it good. Here's my own version of your waoouuuh landscape (more saturated colours, ...

Aldeyarfoss

A number of waterfalls are located at the norhtern edge of the iceland highlands. One of them is the Aldeyarfoss, falling 20 meters into a basin of basalt columns. I know that the pano could be brighter on the right side, but it was a rather windy day and light changed very quick.

Yep, you're right. I should probably make a new small version of the pano. It's not so easy with the small structure.

Hi, You also need an adapter which connects to a socket on the head - there should soon be a simple kit to enable anyone to assemble the adapter without soldering. Right now you have to make 5-6 solder joints to connect a cable to a small circuit board. Although I could do this soldering, I would pr...

More from Iceland

Hi, here are two more panos from Iceland:

One from the famous highland area Landmannalaugar with its beautifull colored mountains and one with northern lights, taken near Reykjavik.

@DrSlony: Or like the Snà¦fell mountain in the highlands. Both very nice places. You find a lot of lonely places in Iceland, but its usually hard to get food and stuff there. And usually you don't have to go very far to such places, you have to find them only. The Hengill pano for example is quite c...

Pictures from Iceland

Hi together,
since I am new here (and Iceland seems to be quite underrepresented in this gallery) two of my panos.
The first shows fog in the Hengill Mountains near Reykjavik, the second shows the waterfalls Haifoss ("high waterfall"), which is around 120m high and Granni.
