Yes, the source video flickers. It does that on any of the 4 cameras if the sun is shining directly into the lens.

Sunlight flicker in 360 video [SOLVED]

I have recorded several 360 videos on u sunny day with my Qbic MS-1 Panorama rig, video set to Full HD at 60fps. The recordings made directly towards the sun however, suffer from flicker, as you can see in this short example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dq1JZJMop0 . The only reason I can think ...

Uploading to Youtube [SOLVED]

I read somewhere that the video from AVP 2.0 would be compatible with Youtube 360. However, in order to make Youtube recognize it as a 360 video, I still have to run the 360VideoMetadata.py script. Will this be implemented in the final release? BTW, Youtube 360 does not work that good yet. The image...

Keeping the horizon straight in AVP 2.0?

I have found several documentation pages and videos on leveling the horizon with AVP 1, Blender and AVP 1.5, but none for AVP 2.0 (RC1). If it exists, where can I find it? And if it doesn't: how do I go about leveling a changing horizon in this version of AVP (older methods do not seem to work)? Pie...

Batch jobs are gone

After quitting and restarting AVP while there were batch jobs in the queu, these jobs are gone and all the projects I wanted to render have to be reloaded again, one by one. This just happened to me when AVP crashed.

Re: Elmo QBiC Panorama rig

I just got my Elmo Qbic MS-1 panorama bundle in order to create 360 degrees video for a price that is more justifyable at this moment, than that of the GoPro rig. Here are some findings. The Qbic is a nice little camera which performs good in low light conditions, thanks to its f/2.0 lens. A 185 deg...

Re: FIRST 3D360 VIDEO DANCE PERFORMANCE

Great performance of Strawinksi's Sacre du Printemps. A composition that was as innovative 100 years ago as the use of 360 video is now :-)

Hardware question: does a fancy graphics card improve speed?

Last month, I replaced the 9800GT graphics card in my PC with a GTX750TI, which should be much faster. In hindsight, this may have been an upgrade not worth the cost. I was hoping that Autopano Giga (and Photoshop CS5) would take advantage of the increased speed of the GPU, but if there is an improv...

Lessons learned when using Livepano

My Livepano project ( http://virtualtours.nl/nmm ) is published now. My client is satisfied, but I think some things could still be improved. Here's what I learned from using Livepano in a commercial project: 1. Use a wireless Lavalier microphone. An external microphone will pick up too much backgro...

Re: Is it possible to create a slideshow inside a TV?

Convert your still images into a video. The free program PhotoFimStrip ( http://www.photofilmstrip.org ) makes video slideshows in HD with beautiful Ken Burns effects, like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWPgdVVOs30 O maybe a 'light' solution would be to use animated gifs...

No, I didn't even get that far. Just adding the include files caused the existing, unmodified hotspots not to work anymore and the description windows to disappear.

Bug: Livepano video sound and background music still overlap

I think I found a bug in PtP 2.2, causing the sound of a Livepano video playing and the background music to overlap. In earlier versions, they always did that, but in 2.2, when you play a video, the background music is turned off. Now, if you press the music on/off button in the control bar during p...

Opening websites etc. in a lightbox?

I want to use a mobile friendly lightbox in PtP ( http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2013/05/02/truly-responsive-lightbox/ ) to open websites, Youtube movies etc. Has anyone succeeded in doing that? Is there a plugin for it? (I tried it: after manually inserting the include files of Maginific Popup in ...

This is not as simple as it sounds, since they then should open in a popup or maybe a lightbox. Also, I want them to open automatically when the page loads.

Re: Using images and links in the Description

Use Website viewer boxes along with pano-specific buttons created using the Notificatons plugin? I have no idea what functionality that plugin adds. Using images and links in the Description

One of my major clients is asking me to add images and links in the Description window. The only ...

Re: Livepano: turning down the volume of background music?

The 2.2 beta version solve many problem with sounds concurrencies. Yes, it works in 2.2 beta (I was using 2.1.3 before). The background music switches very abruptly to livepano sound though... It would be nice if I could let it dissolve gradually. See and hear: http://virtualtours.nl/nmm/index.html...

[SOLVED] Using the logo for opening a floorplan [SOLVED]

I'd like to use the logo hotspot to open the floorplan, so, use it as a custom button with a fixed spot on the screen but not in the control bar. Can you tell me with what version of APG you stitched this, what the settings were that you used and if you made any manual adjustments in the APG editor window?

You will most likely get a flash at the beginning or end of the video No, I let the video fade in and out. The stills were made with the camera set to bracketing (-2, 0, +2) and then exposure fused with EnfuseGUI. In my experience, video from my DSLR (Nikon D7100) will always have more saturation a...
