Yes embed all data will make a larger file & the viewer will have to wait till all the content loads, thus slower viewing for the initial but rest of the hot spots & their linked pano will load faster (instantly)

I vote for Tile size as a terminology. EDIT: but I did the opposite test and did embed all and voila its going to be VERRRRRy FAST even using cutting size of 10! so feature or a bug finally? That the feature indeed so only the required tile or tiles which the viewer is seeking will get downloaded in...

a pano with 3672x998 pixels at that resolution there is no need to use smaller tile as this wont benefit, in fact you are correct that at this size bigger tile size will be faster but the real use of tiles & its cutting size is when you are dealing with 30000x 20000 gigapixel image & you would use ...

Well I should have been more complete in my answer that gigapixel images will benefit with smaller cutting tiles (128x128) & the tour will render faster but this is not a fixed ratio & you need to test on a real server. But now I am confused too when ygilquin say "Gigapixels tours where memory overh...

- How "cutting size" affect the final panorama? cutting size cuts the pano images into smaller tiles for (multires panos only) so if a user is looking for a specif area of 128 by128 pix then the tile of that area will be downloaded from the server. What's the practical difference on using 512 or 25...

Yes I meant HTML templates with custom color background & some text.
If possible then same for xml templates so I can have various projection mode on right click available instead doing it manually every time.

Georg,
that's what I am doing as of now but every time I generate a tour the edited xml files get overwritten so I was thinking if I can save a xml template & use that in APT.

Is that possible?

Is it possible to have xml custom template so we dont need to edit

Is it possible to have xml custom template so we don't need to edit every time we generate tours?

I want to add right click menu options (various projections) but don't see where can I edit the xml?

Someone asked for automatic tours on krpano forum & posted 2 samples also, looks interesting, klaus replied that yes its possible to do it with krpano hope this can be done with GUI too. http://krpano.com/forum/wbb/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=3816&s=c9398d529dc48ce3fb99471ceac0dc840d65ee86

Now I have another question, can I simply copy the (my customized) APT templates to panotour template folder or do I need to make the template for panotour again?

Where are the html templates gone?

Where are the html templates gone in panotour pro 1.5 beta 2?
I only see 1 generic html in the drop down list but that too is not visible when I open the panotour installation folder to customize that generic template.

All content needs to be uploaded in one folder which you name as per the tour name.
Once uploaded you go to your website url for example
http://schellinger-fotografie.de/test/iphone.html/
assuming you named your folder "test" in which the html page was named "iphone"

I don't think that's possible as of now, I will be delighted to have such feature or possibility but it will have its own problems. The reason its not possible I think is that the older swf are done with older version of krpano & we will need a newer version of krpano for some new features hence ren...

One possible way is to blend or better use exposure fusion for the images prior to stitching + align them in photomatix if they are from different shot & then stitch them.

Panotour 1.5 release version will integrate Krpano 1.0.8.12. We are at beta 2 stage now & reaching the RC version may be well over into next mid year by which "klaus the genius" would release the next version, so this cat & mouse games remains. Is it possible to have a synergy so that a simultaneou...

Henrik, I don't think this scene is best for shooting orthographic panorama as the results can easily be achieved by normal pano shooting mode. I wonder why would you invest time doing this for this scene. Linear (orthographic) panorama is meant for linear subjects which have a ratio over 1:6 or 1:1...

I think you are mixing up 2 things. 1.physical dimension of the file in pixel 2.file size of the rendered file (jpeg) I am saying that don't reduce the (1) physical dimension of the file in pixel since multires tour will take advantage of the bigger size but if you render as PSB then bring that file...
