Which DSLR in the (more or less) prosumer category? Pentax k10d?

I'm planning to buy a prosumer DSLR, wondering which one. I started out researching Canon's cameras, then Nikon's, and I ended being most pleased by the Pentax K10d. I didn't have an opportunity to use it so I'm asking you, whether any of you used it. Was it all it is made up to be? Is there any oth...

ps. will gladly see more pictures! I used to have access to SASOL Two and Three ("a South African company involved in mining, energy, chemicals and synfuels"), which was a huge complex next to a town called Secunda in South Africa. Unfortunately I have no photos, google has next to nothing of SASOL,...

I highly value Opera because it was (and is) one of the first and only browsers to render CSS properly (acid2 test passed). There is a bug with displaying images in the forum. When I click on an image that is stored on the forum (as opposed to using a foreign server, eg. www.tinypic.com ) and the la...

Is that Reunion East of Madagascar?
How much does a trip there cost, with hotels etc?

I typed those names you mentioned in Wikipedia, only the French page had an article on it and I dont understand French, but it also had the word Reunion right after it which is the island I mentioned.

Amazing!
I am especially amazed by the intense contrast of colours - from dry sand suddenly to lush green vegetation. then the fog in the distance and the sky... Great job!

Could you please post a larger version that can be uses as a desktop wallpaper, say about 1680x1nnn?

Regards

I understand no word of French but I agree, keep them together. Would be good to have a button on each page that leads to eg. http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?lp=fr_en&url=URL_TO_BE_TRANSLATED where you can see the active page translated from French to English. BUT If possi...

I don't like, use nor trust services that require installing a program that isn't opensource and is ad-supported just to be able to use that service, like Pando. A few months ago I tested all the free file sharing sites I could find that allow hosting over 100MB. I tested for the following: [uli]max...

Nice when zoomed out, but at 100% it looks over-sharpened. Also is this tonemapped? There is a halo around the dome and trees.
Now I think that this oversharpening could be due to noise reduction, did I guess right?

I am almost done correcting and filling in missing entries in the Polish translation.

Alexandre are all the entries in KLanguage necessary, or only those for which there is a translation of APP available?

roadmap for releases

When is 2.4 planned to be out? AlexandreJ said he hoped it would be out a week or two ago, so can you please update as to what the new release date is planned to be?

When will the package necessary for translating 2.4 be out, and where?
