Witam 1- Which settings? There are global settings, and there are panorama-specific settings. I think you probably changed the panorama-specific ones instead of the global ones... if I understand the problem correctly. 2- What bad thing? Looks like PTGUI did some sharpening. If you think that it was...

MFranquelo regarding your point 3: you can do global tonemapping first, which makes sure no part of your photo is over or under exposed but it doesn't give you that 'pop hdr' look which you might be after to some degree. The good thing about this is that you can first tonemap your photos using a glo...

jeradg: "then I created my HDR images in Photoshop" to be clear, do you mean real HDR images (logluv TIFF, EXR or RGBE) or tonemapped images? "and set my usual settings for HDR creation" if you already fed AutoPano HDR images, what HDR creation do you want to do? Do you mean stitching? Or do you mea...

AlexandreJ: explanation? I was asking :D

The exposure fusion dialog only allows one to use negative numbers: -10 to 0.

If you confirm what I wrote, it would mean that the negative range actually does the same thing as the positive range, just 'from the other end', so no problem really.

gddxb the view is fantastic, but I wouldn't call this photo finished. May I suggest you try: - to remove the horrible cutting artifacts in the sky, either by tweaking AP settings (in older versions there was a smartblend pyramid slider, not sure how to go about this in the latest 2.6) or as a last r...

You've learned your lesson - everything has its technical limitations and you must adapt :] When shooting clear skies and especially wires, use a fisheye. That way you are likely to capture all the wires in a single shot, and your single shot will also have unique features where CPs can be placed, n...

Wiki

Hey everyone I've noticed quite a few complaints regarding the quality of the information in the (English) wiki, and I myself am a bit confused as to some of the things it states, so I went through one of the articles and pointed some issues out. If this helps improve it, I'll probably do the same f...

I too would like a clarification of "The negative levels let you reduce this area based on the maximum area." In the case of a 4000x3000 photo, ... -4 ? (if 0 is 2048, then this is 128?) -3 ? (if 0 is 2048, then this is 256?) -2 ? (if 0 is 2048, then this is 512?) -1 ? (if 0 is 2048, then this is 10...

As Klaus hinted, your gear is misaligned. If you want to salvage this pano, you can do two things: 1- also as Klaus said, manually check all links and optimize 2- use soft blending. Use one of the following in the Render window: a- Blending Presets - Simple b- Anti-Ghost with Blending set to Linear ...

I could put up Apache and view it locally, if that will work. Are there any HTML5 panoramas created by Panotour supposedly "compatible with Android" (if that means anything) which you can link me to so that I can test? I'll browse the gallery and try to find one. I need to be sure this is possible b...

gkaefer what do you mean by "licensed"? As opposed to trial? Or do you mean registered (299EUR) + some extra license (how much, what for?)? Installing anything just to get a panoramas to show is out of the question, as none of the people trying to view it will do that. I can play Google Street View ...

Total price for Panotour

Hey What is the total price of Panotour with support for audio and with a license that allows me to send the built panoramas to clients so they can host it on their websites? Secondly, is there a way to get Panotour to create panoramas viewable on an Android smartphone/tablet? I tried HTML5 export i...

Unlinking hard linked photos

Group settings > For a stack: use hard links.

Detect the panorama, open the panorama editor window, and try to unlink a photo. I can't find a way of doing that. When you click on the CP Editor, the photos don't show up as hard linked.

Multithreading in texture manager and in photo loading

Two enhancement requests, both for multithreading: 1- When opening a .pano file which uses TIFF files (not raw, so no demosaicing), I notice only one CPU is used. 2- When opening the panorama editor window, the high resolution texture manager also uses only one CPU, and this step can take quite some...
