I noticed the closer an object the more pronounced the "parallax" seems to be. Yes, so that the closer an object the larger the error caused by corresponding control points. Deleting control points on the closest objects (nearby ground included) will result in an improved global RMS. Whether this w...

That linear blending + diamond weighting is a solution for the "zenith star" issue is a good news, I will try that. I recently attempted to stitch again using 2.5.1 an old pano I shot on a windy day but got only slightly improved result for zenith. To use linear blending + diamond weighting for zeni...

Hi Asher! You can´t shoot a full sphere with 56 images using a lens @200mm. It´s already 306 images using a 105mm. When a 24x36mm FF camera and a 50mm lens are used, a single image is corresponding to no more than 1/40 (one fortieth) of the sphere (BTW, this could explain why we are so interested...

How are they building a mirrorless camera? I know it from a Canon DSLR specieliased on sports: they had a beamsplitter instead of a mirror so that the camera could shoot with higher frequencies. But the splitter sucks light-intensity of course - guess it was 1 step at least. The other way would be ...

gloob, you should say why you are asking this question: for which kind of panos, which camera and lens, which pano-head, etc. For heavy cameras the torque resulting from the pano-head asymmetry is a nuisance and portrait orientation is preferable (less torque.) On the contrary, that Gigapan pano-hea...

against a plain, uniform background such as sky, the banding from even very mild vignetting can become fairly noticeable in larger images Color correction should compensate it well! I wonder if the problem is vignetting (which causes a darker band between each source image and the next one) or smal...

it's a complete equirectangular- 360x180 and all photos are in correct vertical orientation. It happens for every panorama. The best solution could be to send a source images set to Kolor: http://www.autopano.net/forum/t766-ftp-server You could try to remove zenith and nadir shoots, but even if thi...

- Always for the same panorama or for different ones? - For 360x180 spherical panoramas or not? - Is the orientation of all source images correct when they are displayed in the group pane? In PTGui Pro 9.0, one simple paints that flare with red and it won't be used in the stitch. This is available for TIFF in Autopano: you must use another application, add an alpha-channel to the the original shoot and then use the modified TIFF rather than the original. The Reload pictures option (l...

i had issues regarding not well positioned images in the single layers. The layer which contained the stitch was ok. But in the single layers there were offsets between images - that´s why i didn`t use it any more. An usual problem when using Autopano: we tend to abandon a feature when it don't wo...

2) Si c'est l'assemblage qui est pas bon tu devrais voir des indications dans la fenêtre de l'éditeur de panorama.
