I forgot some points... When, by using stacks and the corresponding layers, a bracketed source image series is "well optimized", one can produce easily 3 different kinds of result: 1) a fusion method pano (JPEG, TIFF, PNG, PSD), an image, ready for display 2) a "more than 16bit format" HDR Radiance ...

Here is an attempt to explain the changes, DrSlony ... For "traditional" HDR + tone-mapping from bracketed exposures, users can use stacks and the corresponding layers to produce .hdr or .exr panos only . HDR color mode is to be selected for that. No tone-mapping filters are included in Autopano any...

to night I will try to make a portrait with focus stacking. I would recommend to test first very small appertures like F:22, F:32, etc Usual objection "It can't work as diffraction would forbid any decent results!" is answered there: http://www.autopano.net/forum/t6731-want-larger-dof-use-f22-or-f3...

Add Manual CP not recorded in History

Add automatic control points and Delete control points are recorded in History but Add manual control points is not recorded. This a pity as the next action sometime fails and can't be cancelled using History without cancelling these painstakingly added CPs :o ! (Workaround: save the project before...

After I have run Autofit in the edit window, the preview is the correct size. This could look like a strange idea but in a first step I would verfy that source images EXIF are OK and that the stitched panorama FOV corresponds to the actual source images FOV... Question.. For bracketed shots.. Would I be better off taking my photos in RAW rather than jpeg and why??? Ironically enough, one of the most interesting use of RAW is that RAW can help to avoid bracketing! This is true when the dynamic range recorded in RAW is larger than the dynamic range used in...

As long as it helps users to get good results it´s ok i think . . . :P:cool: But i promise to leave it away . . if we get a good description how to use APG with bracketing sets and tonemapping (afaik doesn´t work, does it?) - IN ENGLISH. Abstract We propose a technique for fusing a bracketed exposure sequence into a high quality image, without converting to HDR first. Skipping the physically-based HDR assembly step simplifies the acquisition pipeline. This avoids camera response curve calibration and is computationally efficient...

You´re right! But i never was lucky enough to get it do what i deed . . Besides: to some extent Photomatix´ ghost removal works fine also! There are two kinds of ghosts in bracketed panos: 1) ghosts between bracketing levels (between layers) 2) ghosts in overlapping regions (in the same la...

APP/APG does seem to have problems with panos shot with very WA rectlinear lenses for a long time. Something I would like to know is whether this results from a specific Autopano problem or from the fact that, when possible, ultra-wide lenses should be avoided for spherical panos. There is no doubt...

I'm working on trying to find a more accurate NPP measurement, perhaps it will help... I doubt your NPP being inaccurate. Reason: control points on the chairs and table were as good as the ones on much more distant objects. At such a low distance CPs are displayed in red by Autopano when NPP is ina...

About the wiki: documentation want coherence (example: must always use the same word to refer the same thing, must avoid repetitions, etc.)

As a result, even for what looks like a small change, using the discution pane is often preferable.
