[APP 2.6 RC1 Mac] - two bugs not in Beta 2

1st problem : the color level histogram is completely wrong (it shows only one or two vertical lines) -> automatic correction is wrong too 2nd problem : the automatic square crop selection is wrong I have attached screenshots to clarify that. I verified (with the same images) that both problems didn...

Great improvements with "bad" panorama

I have a set of photos which make a 360° panorama (on row only), which I took years ago. They have lots of defects: parallax problems with lots of trees, some photos not overlapping more than 10 %, photos taken by hand. I always use this set to judge new versions, and I can say that I now have a per...

We will soon propose some packages in ZIP format that will add some new features directly in this folder structure. - Autopano Pro / Giga => a little grey UI style - Panotour Pro => a menu style with old icons You will just need to extract these packages in the userdata folder to get the new featur...

Hello. I had a long post (in french) on the new interface in the announcement section and my problem with it when I first discovered it. After a while working with the beta, here are my thoughts: The bad: - A dark interface is a good idea, as it gives less distraction, but here we have a major drawb...

ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH !!!!!!

If have found that the 32-bits version is much more stable under Snow Leopard. if you don't manipulate huge files, it may be a good workaround

I use Autopano with smartblend on Snow Leopard and I don't have any problem specific to it (I didn't do any tweaking on smartblend parameters) - only that 32-bit version 2.0.4 is unusable for me (no picture). I use 64-bit version 2.0.4 or (mostly) 32-bit version 2.0.3

Alexandre, anything new ? For now I stick to the 2.0.3 32-bits version (2.0.4 64-bits crashes much too often for me, and the Qt bug which hides the scrollbars is really annoying)

It did try without being very convinced (as the reported case is very different from mine), and it didn't change anything. In fact, when testing more the 64-bit version I had many crashes in different circumstances, all located in a Qt thread, and generally (if not always) when redrawing the image.

Strange. For me the combo update is only a package containing all the possible updates (for any possible configuration), whereas the normal update contains only the modules adapted to your particular configuration. Anyway, I don't see a combo update for 10.6.1. I checked the different crash reports ...

I just saw I wrote "34-bits" in the title ;-) I meant 64-bit (the 32-bit version is unusable for me, see my post on the subject)

[APP 2.0.4 34-bits Mac] crash when using Level tool

This problem happened three times in a row, then I couldn't have it again. It happened when changing manually the white or black clip indicator (I have the live preview enabled). It happened in normal and HDR mode. Here is pat of the crash report including the crashed thread : Process: AutopanoPro [...

[APP 2.0.4 32-bits Mac] no image in panorama window

The place were the panorama should be is white (with the grid).
I thought it was a GPU issue, but in non-GPU mode it is the same.
There is no problem with the 64-bits version

I have a 2.16 GHz Core 2 Duo iMac with a Radeon X1600

[APP 2.0.2 MAC] Funny GPU display bug

I have a panorama made with several images with the same focal length + 2 (smaller) images with a bigger zoom for details (this was not really made on purpose but the zoomed views fit well). The first image shows how it looks normally. However, if you select one of the smaller images and move the mo...

With my Fall 2006 iMac (Radeon X1600), I have the same color inversion problem as on the similarly equipped MacBook Pro above on Test 2 (exact same driver revision). I have also remarked that on Test B series, there seems to be a one-pixel offset right and down (1st screenshot). In the other series,...

So far, this build really rocks (I use the Mac version on an Core 2 Duo iMac). I don't have a fisheye, so I concentrate on other improvements : - I also feel that the results are better than with previous versions - The changes in the UI are also very good (the "rectangular cropping" with transparen...
