AVP - Rolling Shutter plus D.WARP?

Hi all I recently went to record three bicycle races at our local velodrome. I was able to render one race so far: https://youtu.be/9OJDmis_dM8 Sadly the other two videos crash AVP 3.0 RC2 after calculating D.WARP - when I hit the save button. - Does it make sense to compute D.WARP in my case? The c...

AVP - ProRes Windows vs. macOS

Hi all Does AVP 3.x on Windows and macOS render the same ProRes output? Will the file created be different in size, quality, ... ? Any other disadvantages rendering on Windows? I do render on a 2016 MacBook Pro with less than 3 frames per second. With the new D.WARP feature processing takes even mor...

Color correction help

Hi all I've captured some footage of a lake in the Swiss alps. The output can be watched on YouTube . In AVP's color tab I've pressed the Apply button and lowered the exposure compensation. The output generated does not look nice to me. The colors should look more like the picture I've taken with my...

Re: Realtime preview vs. Rendered output

Hi again I just thought it's related to syncing... I've shared all the files @ https://nasa.uemd.ch:9443/sharing/z1tJiGtsJ In the meantime I've rendered another video (using the fresh release of AVP 2.6.0). There the output is in sync without applying extra sync / stab. So I just worked on the Contr...

Re: Realtime preview vs. Rendered output

Hi I didn't press the "Apply" button on the Synchro module. Do I have to perform something in this section? Isn't it already synced out of the GoPro Omni? What would I have to perform there? Bildschirmfoto 2017-02-17 um 20.38.58.png I do not know if it's related.. but transfer speed on GoP...

Re: Realtime preview vs. Rendered output

Hi Yes, playback of the ProRes 422 LT file seems to work just fine with a MBP 2016 (460/4GB). I think the problem is with my recordings. Just tried an the "smart cutting" blending - same result with many out of sync scenes. Have a look at the example below. It's close to the end of the vid...

Re: Realtime preview vs. Rendered output

Hi Destiny Thanks a lot for your reply. So the issue is called "Nadir" and "Red Greed dots" could help? Have to look these up. Sadly I can't share the footage right now as the internet connection is very limited here. How can you tell that the colour balance needs some improvemen...

Realtime preview vs. Rendered output

Hi all My rendered output (ProRes 422 LT, 7930x3950) seems to have issues which aren't visible within the realtime preview: - I appear twice on the rendered output, preview looks ok - It looks like the videos are not in sync, preview does not show that Bildschirmfoto 2017-02-15 um 10.09.10.png Scree...

GoPro Omni - Audio sync required?

Hi all I am currently taking some videos using a GoPro Omni with a TentacleSync hooked up to Camera 6. (TentacleSync injects Audio TimeCode to channel 0, internal microphone is recorded to channel 1.) In post-processing I do want to sync the rendered video using the TimeCode information. IMG_0185.PN...

Re: Adding spatial audio synced

Hi again I think my workflow does not work. I've downloaded a tool (Atom inspector) to validate the .mov container. Faulty workflow: 1. Replace stereo audio-track from camera1 with 4 channel ambiX audio-track --> Inspector reports 4 channels, 96kHz, 24bit 2. Render spherical video with AVP using cam...

Re: Adding spatial audio synced

I think my workflow didn't work out at all.. The uploaded video does not sound nice: https://youtu.be/rjbfsW7eqA0 The .mov file says it's 4 channel audio, and the YouTube "360 Video Metadata"-App did work with ambiX.. but the final result in YouTube is wrong. Does anyone know how to fix au...

Re: Adding spatial audio synced

Hi again I was able to replace the audio track of one of the source video files using Logic Pro X (LPX). I used LPX in order to sync the audio recorded by the GoPro and the Zoom F8. If you open a video in LPX you can select "Export Audio to Movie" (1). The output is the same video footage ...

Re: Adding spatial audio synced

I would also like to be able to add spatial audio to the video. But I think there is no real standard yet. YouTube and Facebook do have got some resources about that topic and there are some tutorials using Reaper and Kolor eyes... I do own a GoPro Omni and a Sennheiser VR Mic. The 4 mono tracks rec...

Re: System requirements for 7920x3960 @ 25fps

I was able to stitch the same footage using my Windows gaming machine (GTX980 / 4GB), even with ProRes codec.

Now I'm curious if it would also work with a video card with only 2GB or 1,5GB video RAM.

System requirements for 7920x3960 @ 25fps

Hi all and a happy new year! Since a few weeks I do own a GoPro Omni camera. I took the camera and my MacBook Pro (mid 2010, GeForce 330m with 512MB dedicated RAM) with me on my Christmas holiday. At the offsite location I captured two 10 minute videos, one with 2,7k / 25fps, the other one with 1440...
