Re: Go pro Setting following Firmware Update

But then we would use the EV Compensation setting for that? The shutter speed would auto increase on a camera facing the sun. The issue I raise, is does it cause stitching problems if the cameras have various shutter speeds, or is it better to lock them all off. The problem of course with the Go Pro...

Go pro Setting following Firmware Update

Hi. Just updated Go Pro to latest firmware and it now includes Manual Exposure settings.
Should this remain as auto, or set it to manual at (as per film standards) double the framerate?
Thanks

Re: Wobbly seams!

Rolling shutter fix didn't work. Made it almost impossible to get a good stitch, and wobble just as bad.
Nevermind, was worth a try!

Re: Wobbly seams!

Hi, Thanks, good thought - I'll try that.
It's as though the 4 cameras are moving independently of one another. The sync is bang on as ensured it frame accurate in FCPX then exported, and if APV locks the videos together then like you say the rolling shutter could be the culprit.

Wobbly seams!

Hi. We have attempted to shoot inside a car by fixing the rig to the windscreen interior. We knew there would be some shake, which wasn't actually so bad, the problem is down the seams where the different cameras join it clearly shows the cameras wobbling independently of one another. Why do they do...

Camera Positioning and Masking

We have 6 Go Pro rig and the rig is designed to be at an angle tilt, so that there is not just 4 cameras on the horizontal plane and 1 faing up and 1 facing down as one would imagine. To clarify, is the reason for this to make stitching easier, as if camera facing directly up to blue sky (for exampl...

Stitching Alignment AVP

New to AVP, testing it and although have managed to successfully make short videos (using 6 x go pro 4 array), the stitch lines are slightly misaligned (see attached). The sync is absolutely spot on to the frame as we did it externally in FCPX and then fine tuned to the MS in AVP. I can't find tutor...
