Re: DSLR with Autopano Video

I shot some (mono) 360 video with one DSLR on a nodal ninja bracket and then pieced the videos together in AVP. I used a Nikon d7100 (crop sensor = 1.5x crop factor) with an 8mm Fisheye lens. I had to position the camera along the horizon at 6 different points. Then I took one shot up and one shot d...

Milos, look into the Mettle SkyBox Studio for Adobe After Effects.

Re: How to fix fps different in one of six cameras

Try using your NLE to render the 59.94 clips at 29.97. Unfortunately you have to match faster videos to the slowest video. Then all six of your videos should play nice with each other.

Re: Little Planet MP4 [SOLVED]

After you stitch your 360 video, on the left of the timeline, you will see two tabs...click on 'Authoring' and then in the video preview window, the greyed out dropdown menus in the bottom left of the window will be available to edit. Click the first dropdown and you will see a list of projections.....

Re: Black Hole in 360 Video

Looks like the auto stitching was a bit off. Check out this tutorial and folloow the instructions at 1:23 to try to better optimize your control points: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVG8fl81o5Y

Re: Stitching Alignment AVP

I think you're mistaking smooth blending preset for "motion" in the subject. Like Martin said, switch to sharp blending preset and that ghosting on your subject will go away.

Re: REMOVE TRIPOD FROM 360° VIDEO

I think it's a very tough issue if the camera is moving. Easier if the camera is fixed (replace the shot of camera with the tripod in the way). The problem with the rig mounted at 45 degrees is the tripod is no longer coming directly off the rig. When the rig is straight, the pole is "hiding&qu...

Re: 360° Video: How to remove the drone from the zenith

Also, if you are shooting with a drone and a 360 rig beneath the drone then you should have one camera on top of the drone pointing at the zenith otherwise no amount of masking is going to fix that.

Re: 360° Video: How to remove the drone from the zenith

My guess is they are using masking to make sure that the parts of the video with the drone in it are not allowed to be used in the stitched output. Check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eZmxN9sid8. While it's not exactly what you are looking to do, it will give you an idea of how th...

How do I program a camera flip in little planet projection?

I'm trying to make the camera go from down position (little planet) to up position (I call it tunnel vision) and then back around to down position in one fluid motion. What happens is I program the move from down to up but, when I set it to go back down, it goes down same way it went up instead of c...

Re: Moving people in stitched line/zone

You have to save the reference pano in APG in order for it to update in APV.

Re: Workflow suggestions?

I just got back from a trip to nocal and shot around the same amount of videos. I don't know of any quicker way of doing it as of now. Not looking forward to the work but the end results should be worth it. One thing I did for similar shots was to create a template so I can do template stitching. At...

How to accurately recreate same little planet scene

Hello, I recorded multiple video clips of the same scene with the 360 camera rig set up in a fixed position. I created a stitching template and was able to apply the template to the different clips. They line up reasonably well when stacked in my video editor (after rendering/exporting from AVP). My...

Mixing GoPro Hero 4 Black and Silver for 360 video?

Is it possible to use both Hero 4 Black AND Silver in a 360 video rig?? I've looked all over the net and can't seem to find an answer. I have 3 Silvers and 1 Black and this will make the difference between me having to buy 2 or 3 more Silvers to complete my rig. Would be nice to save $300-400.

Can we hear audio while editing 360 video?

I have only played with the software a bit so forgive me if I'm missing...
