Re: Autopano is dead, don't bother posting in the Future for

That's not true. Good to hear that - though you needed 14 days to react to a "your product is dead" post :-o Even if the development is slower currently as we concentrating our effort on stitching video, the development continues. We have some nice features lineup for next big version ( a...

Autopano is dead - or is it? No release schedule, no nothing

To anyone getting the idea of posting somehting about Autopano's Future in the "Autopano Future" forum: Don't bother, after the acquisition of Kolor the development seems to have stopped and I've seen no official dev or support reply here for ages. It's a pity, but there you are. https://w...

Re: Crop + Autofill option

it´s a real shame but was suspected by many after gopro bought kolor. support for autopano is nonexistant, documentation is still not finished. 15 month ago i would have recommended autopano to everyone who searched for a pano stitcher. but today you can´t recommend autopano anymore. Exactly, they'...

Re: Crop + Autofill option

This is the same as my request a few threads below ( http://www.kolor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=31976 ) ... but don't get your hopes up, none of the devs seem to read this forum. And they seem to have stopped improving simple image stitching with AutoPano in favor of products only Kolor has ...

Re: Read metadata from XMP

I Now if it just also picked up on those XMP files... They're super simple to read - it's just XML. Just do it yourself with exiftool. You need to figure out which xmp data you want preserved, then either use a gui or run exiftool with -tagsfromfile source.cr2 -xmp:tag1 -xmp:tag2 pano.tif ... if th...

Re: more automation: nadir image always viewpoint optimized

No, that would set viewpoint optimization for every image in the pano, which a) isn't required and b) has generally awful affects on the stitching. Right & sorry I didn't get that part :-o ... though for my (handheld) panos I have to say that turning on vp optimization by default shows no ill e...

Re: more automation: nadir image always viewpoint optimized

It seems to me that a saved Template could include this information, so that we would not need to set it manually on every pano. Um, you already can set this option in "Settings -> Optimization", making it active for every pano you create afterwards? Btw in principle, I can second you obs...

Request: Lightroom-ish "boundary warp"

I understand AutoPano is meant to be feature-complete, but Adobe's latest Lightroom versions added an extremely handy feature called "boundary warp". It's basically a non-linear stretch that fills whitespace in the rectangle. While AutoPano blows LR's pano function out of the water in ever...
