Optical Flow / Computational stitching

Other companies are coming out with solid computational / optical flow stitching tools that give us perfect stitches. Especially for Omni owners- why can't we have the same? I like my omni, but I'm tempted to sell it as the output from competing products is simply becoming superior with far less work.

New Release 2.5 won't install on Windows10

My installation hangs at this point. I'm on a totally fresh Windows 10 System. All previous versions worked on this system (although now it's completely refreshed). I tried 2.3, installed no problem. I uninstalled and tried this 2.5 again, but hangs again. I'll post to forum, but figure it would be ...

Re: Gopro Importing Failing

Also, the importer still does not fail well when a drive is full or nearing full. I thought that was a problem like quite a few iterations ago?

Re: Gopro Importing Failing

Maybe I have discovered the problem or a contributing factor: It seems that the process is much faster when I am importing to an internal drive. Importing to an external drive (also USB3) seems to be incredibly slow. Perhaps there is a resource conflict? We should be able to import to things other t...

Gopro Importing Failing

So I have a bizzare problem. I have been sending my crash logs as well (dennison@dennisonbertram.com) so hopefully that will give more detailed info. In any case, Gopro importing while once working for me has stopped working. The import process never completes on Windows 10 and it crashes my Macbook...

Re: Combined videos give weird timeline length [SOLVED]

When you export- have you tried exporting in cineform MOV? or changing the FPS to be the input fps?

Re: Stereo Output is never accurate for both eyes

Kolor- hello? Would we please have some sort of update? I mean if we are doing something obviously wrong- please let us know. I'm totally confused why there is no response.

Re: Stitching and Rendering: Stereoscopic 14 Camera Rig - Fr

How is the quality of the render, when it renders? I'm having trouble being able to work on the stereo stitch myself, but I haven't heard anything back about it when asked here. So I am quite curious.

Re: 10 camera holder PRO10HD + 4K/30fps setting

You should be able to stitch this automatically just using the standard stitch as GoproHero 4.

Re: Exporting Stereoscopic

Okay I See your solution- turning off the cameras you have assigned left/right to work only on that eye.

However, how do we do this when we are doing a horizontal split? IE: using half of each lens for one eye or the other? hmmmmm....

Could we please have an update on the Stereo Problems?

Hello Kolor! Could someone please respond regarding the broken functionality of stereo rendering? I'm not the only person who can't get equally stiched views for both eyes. (Nor equal color most of the time). If you don't yet know how to fix it, please tell us so we can find a better solution. We pa...

Feature Request: Arbitrary Video Length

Right now If one of my gopros dies early lets say halfway through a project, AVP does not let me stitch the full length of the video. It should simply allow us to stitch as far as the longest video allows, not as far as the shortest video allows. Optional behavior could be to continue stitching the ...

Feature Request: Selective Camera Monitering w/ labels

It would be nice to be able to view how and where each video is stitched in the frame (maybe with a green outline or border) or have the cameras arraigned in layers so we can turn them on and off. Also so we can export frames selectively.

Re: Exporting Stereoscopic

Hi Martin!

Unfortunately though, the stitch is never even when you do this. The output is always very different for each eye. One eye will be perfect, while the other will have significant stitching errors. But how to correct this without messing up the alignment of the eyes?

Re: Stereo Output is never accurate for both eyes

No, I've asked about the difference before, but I don't think I've gotten a response. I'm trying to document the problem well so hopefully someone from Kolor will let us know whats going on. If you make a perfect stitch in APG, you will only ever get one eye looking right if you then render stereo.

Stereo Output is never accurate for both eyes

After making a nice stitch, looks great, I go to output stereoscopic. However without fail, the stitch is good only for one eye, not the other. What is going on and how can I correct for this? If I need to work on each eye separately, how do I go about tweaking one eye without changing the stereo al...

Re: Moving people in stitched line/zone

Unfortunately, 360 video is much harder than it looks to do. In this situation, if you are a beginner, you will need to face the facts that to save this video, and to prevent it from happening in the future, you will need to learn rotoscoping, and other post production techniques as well as get very...
