Re: VR Drive 2: Bracketing HDR and XML compatible?

I see. It's odd that the Image Bundler won't work for you. Do you have the latest version? I haven't had any issues. Even when sorting 50 panoramas it worked. It helps alot if you check the "Delete input image" option. It doesn't really delete the image, it uses the move command (instead o...

Re: VR Drive 2: Bracketing HDR and XML compatible?

Does your VR-Drive not have the HDR software or why are you avoiding it? Nonetheless: Have you tried using Seitz own Image Bundler software (see: http://www.roundshot.com/xml_1/internet/en/application/d77/d78/f82.cfm )? It goes through your images and sorts them into folders depending on which ones ...

Re: stitching error - what could cause this?

I'm using a VR Drive II as well. The batterypack is a "meike mk-d7100". Another thing I just realized is, that due to the batterypack not only is the camera tilted, but the mounting point is moved forward. So the tables provided are not really usable for me (it gives a rough estimation, bu...

Re: stitching error - what could cause this?

Hi Destiny, thank you for the answer. I did a shooting over the weekend with slightly adjusted settings. I'm currently not able to render the pano out (the machine is busy). But as soon as I have it i'll send you a cube face as well (I guess you mean panotour, not Autopano with the cube faces? If no...

Re: stitching error - what could cause this?

Hello Everyone, I tried the settings again today and I think I found the Problem: We're using a batterypack for our Camera and it seems it somehow doesn't sit level on the nodal rail (see last image. The crosshair is added with photoshop at the center point of the image. I would need to tilt the cam...

stereoscopic VR in PTV or offline mode? [SOLVED]

Hello everyone, I followed this tutorial on how to create panoramic, stereoscopic tours. I even manage to get multiple Panoramas going and having hotspots to move between them. And it looks great! The 3D effect is super present and a treat. But: it is all dependent on the internet connection I have....

Faking true VR using video - how? methods?

Hello, I am wondering if it might be possible to fake a "true VR" (game engine based free movement in 3D space) experience. This is the situation: we have a huge and crazy detailed 3D model of an architecture project and its surroundings. Another company is making a unity-based VR experien...

Re: crash when optimizing after new control points

This is still happening. On nearly every panorama. Really annyoing.

Is there anything that can be done? Do you want me to test different settings? Do you need more information on the panoramas?

lens flares - set flash to default?

Hi. One of my regular customers really likes the lens flares. However in the last update you changed the default viewer settings to HTML5 (instead of the previous default flash). Is there a way to set this back to flash as default so the lens flares work again? or will there be any lens flares using...

Re: crash when optimizing after new control points

yes I am prompted and I did send them. There might have been some software open, but it wasn't on the limit of the RAM when it crashed.
It looked like it crashed when it tried to render the new preview after the optimization.

crash when optimizing after new control points

Hi,

I had it for a couple of panoramas now: when I add control points and want to optimize the pano afterwards it crashes. Since it first happened I save before I click the optimize button. If i then reopen the file, it is already optimized.

Happened several times now.

General question: Stacked Images and Control Points

Hi Everyone, Im going over some panoramas I shot. Shooting conditions were anything but optimal (Active building site for train tunnels). I shot about 10EV Stops at 16(or 18, not sure) positions. I am using the SEITZ import for first alignment of pictures but I need to add some more control points. ...

Re: stitching error - what could cause this?

Hi, We're using a Nikon D7100 with a Tokina 11-16 2.8. Tripod is supportive enough (it's a wooden Berlebach for damping any shaking movements caused by the head). I'll double check the NPP but I did set it up once we got the rig. I'll keep the clockwise in mind, but it should not be an issue (the Be...

stitching error - what could cause this?

hi everyone. We're using a Seitz VR Roundshot for our panoramas and recently shot over 40 panoramas with it. To get an overview for the final tour I just imported the panoramas and without any optimization rendered it. Most of the time. Most of the time this produced fairly okay results. Especially ...

Re: Panoramas always look down

looking at the orientation of your pictures: Try bulk rotating them so they face the correct way.

regarding the roll: Is the automatic rotation feature of your camera turned off? That might cause the issue too.

Error Message during rendering - not enough space

Hi Everyone, this keeps happening to me somehow: I get an Error message that I don't have enough Disk space (see image). However there is 2.32 TB free on the harddrive the temporary folder is located in. Even C (which it shouldn't consider) has ~60GB of free space. Yet I get the message I run out of...

Slow speed on previews

Hi Everyone, I am working on ~50 Panoramas at the moment (2 Projects, all of them bracketed full spherical taken with Seitz Roundshot). Working with RAW Files (Nikon NEF) Is near impossible. Re: batch importer with XML and Images

So I am at this Problem again. This time having to open ~40 panoramas! Is it planned to add this somehow? Each folder consists of an XML, the Image files and a log.txt. It must be possible to use this repetitiveness somehow. At least it should be possible when "saving all" panoramas, to ha...

Panorama won't finish rendering

Hello Everyone. I have a panorama composed of 10 EV Stops at 18 Positions. I already converted the RAW Files into JPGs and resized them to fit 2500x2500 Pixels as otherwise it wouldn't even properly produce a panorama. However when I try to render this panorama (32 bit HDR File) it freezes at "...

batch importer with XML and Images

Hi Everyone, we are using a Seitz Roundshot for our panoramas and it has a little programme, that sorts you all the images from a pano into a folder and creates an XML with the position information and the exifs and so on. But I find it a bit tedious to always go to import, then select seitz, then n...

Re: Error #2015 on safari desktop with iframe only

I sent you a link in a private message.

Apparently the Error occured in Google Chrome as well today. Any Ideas?
Is it a problem in the code of the panorama or the integration? The latter is unlikely as it is only an iframe, but nonetheless.
