Re: Export has wrong duplicate frames

I have never used FAST MODE.

2.3.0
2.3.3
2.5

All in Safe mode had the issue with a 970. I am away from the office and can not test at this point

Re: Export has wrong duplicate frames

I just ran the same project on another machine and did not get the frame error.

AVP 2.3.2
Titan Black

Looks like this maybe specific to one machine running the GTX 970

Here are four frames that represent the problem. 307 is good, 308 rumps too far, 309 is identical to 308 (the real 308 is missing), 310 resumes normal moment.

Re: Export has wrong duplicate frames

I could not get either the 64 (or 32 version) of 2.5 to run on my machine until I opened properties and checked run as administrator. First test output to mp4 confirms the issue is still there. I double checked by rendering frames and it is also still there although it does not seem to be the same f...

Re: Export has wrong duplicate frames

I upgraded the Geforce drivers to 372.54 and see the same problem using GPU inb (safest) mode. Seems like a Kolor bug to me.

Re: Export has wrong duplicate frames

This appears to be a GPU issue. I disabled GPU and used CPU to output (slowly) and all frames work correctly.

AVP 2.3.3 (upgraded to try and fix issue)
Win 7 pro
GTX 970 (drivers 359.06)

Export has wrong duplicate frames

I am stitching six gopro videos from the Omni rig (29.97fps). The output video (29.97fps) has duplicate frames as if I am interpolating frame rate (which I am not). If I step through the time line inside AVP the frame progression is correct. I have tried outputting mp4, uncompressed, cineform, frame...

Re: Hope this is not GoPros future 360 video rig...

Gopro is not the designer in this case. The 16 cam spec is coming from Google

Re: Hope this is not GoPros future 360 video rig...

Good point 16 cams x 10 mins of protunes 2k 60fps would be about 60GB. But that is just $$$ you still don't need any stitch skills which is significant for anyone with a $10k camera budget.

Re: Hope this is not GoPros future 360 video rig...

But the whole point of the Google Jump system is that its software assembler does all the hard work of image reconstruction so nobody has to do the stitching. It also handles stereoscopic 360. So as long as you have the camera arrangement you don't need any stitching skills or software for post. If ...

Re: Left/Right Render [SOLVED]

Switched language to Spanish and restarted to get the other eye.

Having finally got a left and right render I was disappointed to see many mono areas in the video. Definitely some serious bugs going on here.

Re: Left/Right Render [SOLVED]

Apparently not. I just downloaded the trial and can not get a left right render out (using english language). I see it update in the Gui view but the output is always the right eye.

Re: Autopano video export frame rate

Hi I dont think Gear VR can run 4k x 2k @ 48fps (or 60). I think it maxes out at 30 fps unless you make the video smaller. 4 x 2 x 24fps will work. Try importing the 48 fps (47.951) footage in to AE. Drag it to a comp and change the comp settings to 23.976 fps. The video will now be twice the durati...

Re: Stitching Problem

First example. You may need to manually reposition the sky

Second. I think you shout 1920 x 1080 instead of 1920 x 1440 so there is not enough over lap to stitch

Re: Autopano video export frame rate

I think it would be better to do the time adjustment in AE before sending it to media encoder. You also might want to choose 24fps (or 48) so that AE does not have to create 'fake' frames by frame blending etc. Media encoder does not have a 48fps option

Re: post production 4096 x 2048 recompressing issue

Your profile level in Media Encoder must be set to 5.2. This new standard allows the higher res. If you only have 5.1 then you need an upgrade.

Re: Render Sizes

Those numbers were not quite right as the Oculus screen is split between two eyes. So 90 degree is half of the screen (2560/2) or approx 5k horizontal. 2:1 ration is still correct and make you masters as high as possible. The big problem today especially with 3D content is to find a machine that can...

Re: Always Rips Appearing in the Stitching [SOLVED]

That rig requires the Gopros to be set to 1920 x 1440. You don't have video to cover those gaps with 2.7k
