Re: Google API integration?

As a PP of 30+ years who occasionally sells high end tours and user APG, PTP & LV, having the Google API incorporated into PTP would be a very valuable addition simply because it's a "value added" offering to premium tours: "If you purchase our premium tour we will include a "...

Re: Panotour Future

Agree. Money is king I guess. As for GoPro the future looks bleak. Shares are at $5 with a CEO who had one good idea which has past its prime. Karma: Fail. GoPro Channel: Fail. Hero 6: Fail. Hero Session: Fail. Nick Woodman doesn't even believe in his company because if he did he would realize he's ...

Re: Truly convincing "tiny planet"

That's a beautiful piece of art but I'm sure that no "off the shelf" app spit that out with one click. There's a lot of planning (choice of subject), skill and just plain "luck" in pre/post stitching to achieve that result. APG can certainly stitch most any series of images you i...

Re: Having virtual tours on client's servers (License questi

You have the right to embed tours you created on clients servers. It's the only (logical) and convenient way for it to be done ulness you want to charge a monthly fee for hosting the tour on your server. Your client does not have to purchase anything above and beyond your services and final tour. Wh...

Not sure any of us know what you mean by "convincing" tiny planet? If you have the images and skills anything is possible.

Re: Facebook Upload of 360

I just did a little research (because it was frustrating the heck outa me and I couldn't get any work done) and found these PS templates from FB's official page. All you have to do is past your pano and "save as" (not export or save for web). It works perfect. You can change the file info ...

Re: facebook panorama metadata missing

Just tried to upload the original output from APG and it worked fine with facebook. Photoshop didn't retain the data upon export which is the issue so now I have to locate a "retain original data" setting in PS (2018). Any ideas.

Thanks

Re: Facebook Upload of 360

Yup, the actual AGP export works just fine with facebook but when altered in Photoshop's spherical editor it strips the data on export. Now I just have to find the setting to retain the data...

I guess this answer is solved regarding AGP.

Thanks!

Re: facebook panorama metadata missing

I think I figured it out the problem but don't have a solution yet. Annis replied to a post I made a couple of minutes ago and asked me if I altered the APG output it in any way. The answer is yes. I used PS 2018's new spherical editing tool (works amazing) to patch the nadir and add text. I guess i...

Re: Facebook Upload of 360

As a matter of fact I created the pano in APG but tried the new Adobe PS 2018 spherical editing tool to patch the nadir and add some text (it's awesome btw) . Hmmm, I guess that stripped out the info(didn't think about that)? Is there a way to get that exif back into the image in PS or can I import ...

Facebook Upload of 360

Anybody have any helpful hints on how to post APG files to facebook? I've not successfully been able to do so as of yet. :/

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

I can see a marked difference in the nightclub and slightly less with the fans but the difference is measurable. Both my monitors are CC and I'm using a NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6gb. Windows 10 Pro (but not the very latest update because I refuse to subscribe to that MS BS). Just an observation: The ...

Re: Panotour Future

I agree. We purchased it years ago because it has a wonderful potential. But now that we have run into a major masking we couldn't possibly offer it as a solution in it's current state. They need to backtrack and find out exactly when and why this has happened.

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

Just a word on that. I'm in my home on my spare time to answer you at this time and read this is just not correct. If you just want to judge people ... you also can go away from Kolor products and look after the others solutions. Kolor has always been near it's customers and you'll never find such ...

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

Well referring to @ungeherr's examples there is a remarkable difference and I have to say that I agree with his perception (of Kolor) and logic regarding this issue. Chrome does have the market share but that's besides the point as LivePano should work with All browsers (as it did before). That bein...

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

@benji33 Well as for the "processed" vs. "unprocessed" I don't see any substantial difference BUT I do see a perceptible difference between Chrome vs. Safari. It looks as if Safari is rendering it "smoother" when processed meaning I see less of an acute difference betwe...

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

@ungeherr Although I completely understand what you are saying but I can't believe that the screenshot will have an impact on the video exposure/color? Like you said, I thought it was only for positioning. I've never seen or heard anything which indicates a link between the screenshot and video rela...

Re: Livepano layer mask visible in chrome

@ungeherr I see the very slight differences but it's difficult since you hid the masking very well (by placement). There is still a visible outline though so while it's "better" it's still not "salable" to a client. =(

With the launch of GoPro Fusion (sadly) I doubt this will be addressed anytime soon. While the software for fusion looks promising I'm sure they will have plenty of bugs to work out.
