Re: Small Gallery Bar plugin: Multiple Image

Sorry, in response to your question, yes, I think small gallery bar would work, IF the thumbnails scrolled! It's the only thing stopping it from working.

Re: Small Gallery Bar plugin: Multiple Image

To be determined :) Some background might be helpful: I've designed a series of panos for a resort. They're good, client is happy. Then they requested that I integrate a photo gallery of area attractions into the tour, as a separate page. It's all embedded into their booking system as an iframe, and...

Re: Small Gallery Bar plugin: Multiple Image

Yes, all 30+ images have to appear. And scroll, so they can all be accessed.

Small Gallery Bar plugin: Multiple Image

I'm using the 'small gallery bar' plugin in Panotour Pro v2.3.1. I want to put many images in the gallery (30+) which is not a problem using "Add multiple files" in the setup (available only on later versions if I recall correctly- 2.3+?) The trouble I am having is that the only a few of t...

Re: 'Clean' Navigation Buttons Updated

Destiny, Yes, I hear you! FWIW, I did not set out to design the buttons for profit, or for anything other than my own needs. I was just looking for a nice, simple, clean button set (lacking in stock PTP install, IMO!) and decided to share with the wider world after the fact (no obligations, indeed!)...

Re: 'Clean' Navigation Buttons Updated

I have no plans, alas. It was a project that I had made for myself and was happy to share. That said, I suggested that if anybody uses it for commercial purposes that a little donation might encourage me to make more (and bring good karma!), but as of today, I have received a grand total of... 'Clean' Navigation Buttons Updated

All, I have updated the 'Clean' Navigation button set to v.93 to comply with PTP v2.3 and later. The one issue resolved was that tool tips did not work when using v.91 of the set. This has been fixed. For further information and to download both the earlier set (works with PTP v.2.2 and earlier) and...

Re: "2 panoramas found" in APG

I will be moving to fisheye. Must find a way to justify it first (shouldn't be too difficult :) Very good advice on shooting patterns, slowly but surely it's starting to make more sense :) Must admit, I've avoided the control point editor, time to dive in and figure it out. Thanks again for all your...

Re: "2 panoramas found" in APG

Mediavets, Thank you so much! Wasn't just looking for it to get 'fixed', I'm very happy that you pointed me in the right direction to fix it myself. I'd rather be taught how to fish than to just be given a fish :) I will give that a go. WRT your questions and observations, I was shooting with a Cano...

"2 panoramas found" in APG

Apologies if this has been covered, I am not yet up on the appropriate lingo and was unsure what to search for. I shot a spherical pano scene, 60 degrees each shot, 3 rows. When I get APG to process, it always detects two panoramas. This is not what I am expecting; they should all be in one. And if ...

Re: Hosting/publishing tours

Sounds like if you can embed youtube and whatnot that iframe embedding is supported. But yes, you will need to have the pano files on a web server somewhere. There are free options... http://www.prchecker.info/web-hosting/top-10-free-web-hosting-sites/ I think I actually tried this one out... http:/...

iPad Audio?

Running PTP RC1 (haven't installed RC2 yet: in the middle of a project) I've built an audio button into the tour that starts a voice over. It works on desktop and on android, but I get no audio playback on iPad (don't have an iPhone to test). Here is the link: http://firstshowinggallery.com/tours/27...

Re: Custom menu

1) Create (or purchase) your sample graphic. That particular one has transparency so save as a PNG file with alpha. 2) In PTP, apply the Social Share plugin under the 'Viewers' option in the 'Style' plugin library 3) Then create a 'Simple Button' in Style tab -> Plugins Library -> Controls 4) In the...

Re: coding Control Bar video tutorial

That's because I'm building a tour with google maps enabled, and it has much more sense if all the controls in the page are similar for the visitor. Many thanks! Pablo Yes, I felt the same way. I just built my first plugin that is a clean nav set similar to Google. It was a bother for a creative wh...

'Clean' Navigation Button Plugin Set for PTP2

I'm really liking PTP2, but found myself missing a nice, simple, clean navigation button set. So, as a holiday project I whipped one up, based loosely on the iControl Bar style. It is easily installed so that it shows as a menu item in the 'Control Bar' sub heading in the 'Styles' tab (and thus can ...

This has been my experience as well. A possible solution (if you're comfortable editing XML) is found here... http://www.kolor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=20565&hilit=preload As a future feature request, I would like a checkbox in the 'advanced' section of the GUI to optionally enable/dis...

Re: Custom Navigation Buttons?

A little further digging reveals that I can simply replace all button image assets in the PTP application structure itself (...\Kolor\Panotour Pro 2.0\Resources\plugins\iControlBar). Then choosing the preset in Styles will use new buttons. Backup originals, of course.

Re: what a mess !

My 2 cents... I'm new to panos, and so new to pano software. The reason I chose to purchase PTP (and Giga) was because the software was (fairly) logical, well laid-out, and easy to 'discover'. I sat down with it first time and clearly understood the flow and how to get things to happen. Not to say t...

Re: Auto Rotate on start

I had noted this myself, PC, RC1. Tour Load Time for Clients: Quite Variable

I've got a virtual tour here: http://firstshowinggallery.com/tours/27dawson140/27Dawson_Unit140.html Panos created in Autopano Giga, tour created with PTP 2 b5. I'm getting reports from clients that the actual load time for the site varies significantly (largely from PCs and Macs). I'm seeing it loa...
