Android: Full Screen Button in Chrome, but not Firefox/Opera

Firefox is my first choice on my Samsung Note 2, and panos look fine, but I realised yesterday when testing that Chrome and Opera were delivering either a white out image or a random, constantly changing, mishmash of pixel groups from parts of previously viewed pages! Absolutely awful and unusable. ...

Re: Panos not loading on Smartphones - Scripting Issue

I wonder if it's the effect of the css media queries? I'll take a look at this when I've got a little more time.

Re: Resizing Buttons for Smartphones

Have you looked at the HTML5 viewer using Chrome in one of the mobile/tablet emulation modes? For some reason the buttons appear at a useable size! My workaround has been to include some external buttons appearing below the pano in portrait orientation and to the left in landscape. This has the bene...

Re: Panos not loading on Smartphones - Scripting Issue

Yes, I'm almost constantly modifying the site at present, and the only way I can get the pano viewer to appear, is to eliminate levels of tag nesting. Originally panoDIV was in body/div/content/article/panoDIV, now it sits in body/div/panoDIV. Was an issue on IOS and android but fine on desktop, so ...

Resizing Buttons for Smartphones

Sorry! I know this subject has been covered elsewhere, but I just can't arrive at a solution to retrospectively edit the xml files in order to create larger buttons suitable for mobiles. I've read the krpano instructions for 'crop', but the actual behaviour after playing with the settings is still a...

Re: Panos not loading on Smartphones - Scripting Issue

Not sure precisely where the problem lies, but it appears to be caused by the switch to HTML5 viewer for handheld devices, where the CSS seems to behave differently. I'm not great at any of this stuff, but I've managed to overcome the problem by moving the panodiv into a different position in the fl...

Re: Panos not loading on Smartphones - Scripting Issue

Viewing the source in Google chrome while in a smartphone emulation mode, I can see a number of divs for the pano for the next and previous pano buttons, and also the 3d pin that links to other panos. The co-ordinates for the latter can be seen changing in the css's translate element, but none of th...

Panos not loading on Smartphones - Scripting Issue

Over the past couple of weeks I've been modifying my website from a fixed to a responsive layout, and while the panos worked in the fixed layout on smartphones, now all I'm seeing in the responsive layout is the white space that should be occupied by the pano. The standard html page generated by Pan...

Questions about LivePano

Does the use of Live pano require Autopano, PTP and Livepano, or are there alternatives? Is there a demo version of Livepano or does it require a licence to unlock it, in which case, how can you try before you buy? Is Livepano limited to 1080p or can you use 4k? Does Autopano attempt to match the vi...

Autorotate doesn't

Just downloaded 2.01 to create a quick visual for a prospective client and autorotate doesn't start after the specified delay. Is there some setting that I'm missing? Once autorotate is turned on, you can click the image to pause and it will restart after the specified time. I can see waittime and s...

Re: What fullscreen options are available for smartphones?

This is interesting, but when I load the Google+ photosphere player, that does play at fullscreen.

Is it possible to force the player to fullscreen?

Re: What fullscreen options are available for smartphones?

Adobe's Flash website says 'No!'. Unfortunately. I read Steve Jobs thoughts yesterday, on why Apple moved away from Flash, and it would have largely made sense if there was a viable alternative. HTML5 looks like it will be a nightmare on mobile handsets and tablets. No 2 devices appear to handle pan...

Re: Control Bar Button Sizes on Android/IPhone

Is there a navigation style that works on both?

I haven't come across a comprehensive explanation on use of percentages in xml for navigation elements, on here or krpano. I'll dig around some more.

Re: Control Bar Button Sizes on Android/IPhone

This is such a basic requirement. It needs greater priority.

If you post about your new 360's on social networks and the majority of people are viewing on a smartphone, then they're going to have a pretty poor experience.

What fullscreen options are available for smartphones?

After using PTP2 to make my 360's smartphone savvy on my website, I was amazed to see not only the diminutive control bar button size, but the fullscreen button has disappeared. Why? This, I was not expecting. If there's one button you do need in a smartphone its the fullscreen one! Is this a KRPano...

This is good news. Is this something we're likely to see in PTP2?

Unfortunately, I need a solution I can implement now.

Control Bar Button Sizes on Android/IPhone

I was looking forward to offering viewers the opportunity to look at my 360's on their smartphones rather than having to get to a PC, and got round to updating my website yesterday to accommodate this, but I have to say that I'm rather underwhelmed by the viewer. The buttons and thumbnails seem to h...
