Re: Autopano 'groups'

Hi thanks for your response. Yes I'm using the Panogear Motorised Head purchased through Kolor. On this occasion I performed manually and didn't use the wi-fi controller function. I operated using the manual joystick on the back on the Panoshoot module. Therefore no XML file was created this time. I...

Autopano 'groups'

Hi all, I'm having an ongoing issue with APG3 and not sure how to get around it. After I've taken my 360x180 images for virtual tour and then import the pictures into APG3 I find the shots are always separated into groups. I can't get all shots into one panorama stitch. Please see the screen grab at...

Re: Upload to server - desktop licence error!

Hi, thanks for your advice. We uploaded our tour agian last night with no URLs in the 'restricted domains' section and it worked great! Fantastic, thank you so much! I understand that the tours won't work on Android devices which don't support Flash but in these cases why can't the Android device re...

Re: Upload to server - desktop licence error!

I haven't actually tried that. What exactly does that field do? I thought you had to input the URL(s) in which you wish to host the virtual tour. Am I wrong?

Upload to server - desktop licence error!

Hi all, I've created and finished a virtual tour for a client. All works well locally on my iMac. However, when the 'build' folder is copied onto the server and then I access my URL it says "Licence Error" on a black screen. Interestingly, the virtual tour works fine on iPad and iPhone. It...

Thanks guys, although I chip in less frequently than yourselves, I am reading all of your comments and trying to take it in. It's one hell of a maths class!! I'm out of the country from tomorrow for 3 days and I will most certainly be without internet connection (don't ask!) - but just wanted to let...

Hi all, Haha no Andrew, that' my work partner peering around the bathroom door. This was our 5th test and by this point we weren't bothered if we were in shot - just testing the gear...again and again and again. Thank you all for your help. This is a very complicated matter for me as a newbie. I wil...

Hi Martin, Yes the Panogear was fixed securely to the tripod. The settings on Panoshoot corresonded correctly with the lens I was using. I feel it is something to do with the shooting pattern - I'm just not sure what it is that I've set up incorrectly. I uploaded a few screen grabs to the beginning ...

Hi Andrew, I am uploadeding the original photos into the Dropbox folder for you now. Thanks for taking a look! Can you see the folder OK with this link? https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cf41lhryy5e97r6/-jGE9meo3w I'm not sure how to find the XML file unfortunately. After each pano shoot the XML would auto...

Hi Ed, thanks for the advice. I will look into importing the xml file too. I have looked through my original shots and it appears that the Panogear/Panoshoot HAS left out the areas which are mising in the stitch!! What could possibly have caused that? Looking at my Panoshoot screen grabs above I can...

Hi Andrew, That's a shame about the lens - I researched heavily into which lens to get but have obviously been misinformed. I will look into the Panoshoot documents to see how I can import the XML information - thanks. I have uploaded the 2 panormas to Dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cf41lhryy5e9...

Hi Martin, thanks for the response. I will take a look through the original shots and see if those areas are missing. But as for 'shooting pattern' how could I set it incorrectly out of interest? I choose 360x180 and Panoshoot detects the wide angle lens and chooses a 7 shot pattern on the horizonta...

Hi Andrew, I set my own 360x180 shooting pattern. It has worked many times but now it continues to fail on me. Again, I'm not sure if the problem lies with the Pangear shooting coordinates or APG3. You can see my 360x180 pattern on the 5th screen grab above. Panoshoot appears to create an XML log ev...

Autopano Giga 3 stitch problem - information missing!

Hi all, I took my Panogear Motorized Head out to a hotel on Saturday to work on some 360 virtual tours. This was an unpaid job (thankfully) which I was doing with my partner to ensure we had our technique right - before we take on real work. We have had success up until now shooting inside our house...

Dear all, Success, I have the Pangogear working using the wi-fi! I couldn't tell you what I did differently, it must be a miracle! I took all the cables out and re-set up everything as if it were day 1 again. Good wi-fi signal and was able to create a 360 panorama with 3 rows. And managed a great st...

Hi Georg, Thanks for the message! I am so pleased that you joined the conversation. I have a fairly technical head on my shoulders but I have never found anything nearly as confusing as this issue I am now having. Kolor have a strict 7 day returns policy. It's now been over 2 weeks due to the fact t...

Hi MediaVets, Great thank you. But how do I find out what firmware I am currently running on the Panogear?... In regards to the advice on the Android app - I can certainly get hold of an Android device, but the Panogear does not have a Bluetooth transmitter/reciever. Only the new wi-fi dongle was su...

Thank you MediaVets but I have watched these videos dozens of times. They are not helping me with the Hand Control or guiding me through shooting a 360 or panormama in enough detail using the wi-fi module. I appreciate your response though!

Hi Klaus, Thanks for your response. I bought the hardware directly form Kolor. I wanted the touch screen controller (pic attached to show you what I'm referring to) but was told it had been replaced by the new wi-fi module. This is a dongle which plugs into the AUX port on the back of the Panogear a...

Panogear new Hand Control - confusion!

Hello all, I have been sent the new Panogear Hand Control which supercedes the old touch screen hand control used for bluetooth/Papywizard. The new Hand Control has no screen at all. Does anyone have experience of using this Hand Control? I believe you can only set 6 points of interest. However, I c...
