Re: Samsung Gear 360

Hi there, just to say that I have done some tests and yes it does work with panotour. The quality of the image isn't spectacular, but for a real estate use, I think it will do fine! Especially taking into account the ease and speed of use!

Re: Samsung Gear 360

Hi Annis, Thanks for that.
I have found a couple of images that seem to be done with a Gear 360 and they seem to work okay in panotour.
I'll let you/everyone know once I have found some more.

Samsung Gear 360

Hi there,
Just wondering if the Samsung Gear 360 is compatible with panotour/autopano for doing real estate virtual tours, as it will be a lot quicker than my tripod/gobbi/rteflex/fisheye setup I presently use!

Good point Med, but the Gobi has a " unique solution is a simple groove that allows you to rotate the vertical arm to shoot the nadir. No other head offers such ease of use ." built in, so once again beats the NN3 on cost. Which certainly looks a lot easier. http://bushman-panoramic.com/panoramic-he...

My appologies to the moderator!! Being English living if France I flit between the two, must of missed a click! (also answer Mediavets unasked question!! hehe) And to answer Mediavets (asked) questions, the main reason is to get neater stitches, especially when it comes to the nadir, the horizontal ...

Hi Mediavets, Thanks for the answer.I don't know how good your French is, but just in case I'll give you a quick run down of my needs. Basically I am a freelance estate agent here in Brittany France and am adding panoshots for the properties, I wouldn't go as far as saying virtual tours, but 1-3 sph...

Hi Mediavets and Hans...that was quick! The initial shots are going in at 4912x3264 px. Final panos seem to be 11702x5851 px. Panohead, erh, umm...I am not at the moment, just a homemade bracket, more of a slider so to speak, just to get the nodal point back, but keeps the camera in the portrait pos...

NEWBIE: Sizes and settings for PT virtual tours

Hello all, A newbie question concerning PT.:( I am an estate agent in France, and have just purchased APP and PT with a view to doing VR tours/360° panos for the promotion of my properties. I am doing this for my own business, thus trying to keep costs within reason! I use a Sony A35, which admitted...
