Re: Thumbnail not displaying text on iPhone nor iPad. [SOLVED]

Hmmm... Is there a way to display the name of the tumbnail statically so it can be seen without "hover"? Thanks R

iphone tours starting a little zoomed in.

Hi all, When I view these tours on iPhone they start a little zoomed in even though the default field of view is as high a number as I can make it and the zoom starts all the way out on other devices. Is there anything that can be done to correct this? Thanks in advance… R Take a look at these tours...

Possible to render 270 degree tour rather than 360 degrees?

Hi all,

I would like to render a tour to be only 270 degrees rather than a full 360. Is there a way to do this in PTP2?

Thanks,

R

Re: Tour staring zoomed and without zoomabilty on ipad

So I should go with the default, which is multires and incremental and forget about rebuild unless I'm working with older version creations?

Re: Tour staring zoomed and without zoomabilty on ipad

I'm not sure. I've had this thing so long, I thought it was from the first round of iPads. I'm updated the os not to 7.0.4. Maybe that will make a difference. One last question if I may: Regarding Tiles, when is it recommend to use "multi resolution," "Incremental build," or &quo...

Re: How to eliminate black bars due to limited vertical FOV?

Yes everything was built with RC1 and all horizontal FOV's are 360 however, when I redo a file I've been deleting the old file in the output folder and then saving the new files into the same folder. So you're saying this could cause some problems?

Re: How to eliminate black bars due to limited vertical FOV?

The file was created using the most current version of Autopano 3 but I did not have rebuild all tiles checked in PTP2. However I did have multi res and incremental build checked.

Re: How to eliminate black bars due to limited vertical FOV?

Yes, it appears that I am running RC 1 so perhaps my issue has something to do with the fact that I'm viewing on a first generation iPad. I need to find someone who has an iPad 2 or iPad mini to test. Thanks - R

How to eliminate black bars due to limited vertical FOV?

My flat panos are only one row of stitching so the vertical field of view is narrow. When I render them for 360 in PTP2, I get black (letterbox looking) bars on the top and bottom. See links below for the flat file and the PTP2 generated 360. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. R http://www.ro...

Re: How to create a simple button to link to a website?

"Did you assign an image to the button?"

That is the only field that I left blank since I did not have an image to assign. Must I assign an image or is there a default button image?

Thank you for responses,

R

How to create a simple button to link to a website?

I've found the "simple button" in the pluggin gallery of PTP2 but I am not able to make the button show up in my tour. I'm sure there is something simple that I am missing. Thank you in advance to anyone who can advise.

Horizon warped using krpanotools but looks even using Panotour.

I'm regenerating a tour that I had done in PanotourPro using krpanotools but the horizon is warping dramatically. Why is this happening and how can I change it. See links below. Thanks, R PanotourPro Tour: http://www.robertgranoff.com/360/W%20110th%20&%20Manhattan%20Avenue.html Krapano Tour: http://...

It's possible I may have used a different projection for those. Going forward, what rules should I put in place so I don't have these problems in the future?

Thanks,

Last thing Klauss if you find a moment, or anyone else who sees this, I have managed to eliminate the black curve on the bottom of my tours (only seen on ipad and iPhone) on 8 out of 11 tours. All of the flat panos have the same exact height now, which helped eliminate this black curve on the bottom...

Could be. I wish had spent the last three days learning krpano because it seems to be working a lot better. I just wish I knew how to modify the navigation and where it says, "virtual tour" on the bottom left. Do you have an idea?

Thanks,
