Re: Select all hotspots shortcut [SOLVED]

Select all hotspots shortcut [SOLVED]

Hi, is there a shortcut to select all hotspots in PTP 2.5.5?

CTRL+A seems to only select the panoramas for me.

The main reason is that I want to make the 'Source Transition' option checked on the hotspots all at once. (Is there a 'select hotspots based on style' option instead?)

Cheers,
Michael

Re: responsive Design with PTP?

Hi Siewers, the scaling on the PDF box and HTML web box is great on desktop - how did you implement this in PTP?

Hotspot description won't change to new hotspot text

Hi, I'm trying to use hostpot descriptions to display text for various hotspots. I want to enable the following functionality: 1. Click Hotspot 1, opening the description box and displaying Hostpot 1 text. 2. Click Hotspot 2, replacing Hotspot 1 description text with Hotspot 2 text (without needing ...

Re: Double tracking in GA

Hi Ondrej, It seems to me that there's one pageview sent for the tour itself, and one for the tour page that's loaded, but I'm not certain. In Google Analytics, if you go to Behavior > Behavior Flow > Site Content > All Pages and add a secondary dimension 'Page Title', you'll see that title of the '...

Re: Google analytics - page names

Hi Ondrej The analytics plugin sends through both the scene name/id (e.g. "pano32") and the scene title ("Ground floor"). In Google Analytics, the Page name is the scene name, and the Page Title is the scene title. So you could make a custom report in Google Analytics that shows ...

Re: Track views of my Tour? [SOLVED]

If you want just want to see how many people start viewing the tour, you can just add tracking code (e.g. from Google Analytics) to the HTML template page. If you want to track how many views there are to each scene, then you'll need to use the analytics plugin feature in Panotour. (Basic info here:...

Change analytics base URL

Hi there, I'm using the new Analytics plugin in PTP2.5 and the data is coming through to GA. I was wondering if it was possible to change the path that the URL gets sent through, so that instead of being sent as http://www.mysite.com/Virtual_Tour.html it gets sent as http://www.mysite.com/tours/Virt...

Re: Developing a plugin

Hi again, Sorry for the lengthy delay in posting a followup. In coming back to this after a long absence, I'm trying a different approach which looks like it could be an easy way to get at least some basic view stats. In the html page I've got the standard Google Analytics embed script in the <head>...

Re: Developing a plugin

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm trying to use the krpano javascript plugin template (http://krpano.com/docu/plugininterface/#js) as the 'my_analytics.js' file. I have created a basic PTP test tour. As part of this I am using the 'include xml' PTP plugin to include an xml file ('analytics.xml') w...

Developing a plugin

Hi everyone, I am trying to develop a basic google analytics plugin. However, I am having some difficulty getting started. My initial goal is to set up an event listener that can respond with an action whenever a hotspot is clicked. Ideally some information about the hotspot can then be extracted an...

Re: Google Analytics in PTP2

I've gone back to the drawing board with analytics. What I'd like to be able to do is create my own plugin. It would probably be a similar approach to the existing krpano plugin, but in HTML5 only, as I'm not sure what process I'd need to do for Flash. Conceptually: - A krpano plugin will be created...

Re: Manually show/hide notifications plugin

Yes, it's related. However, I'm trying to move on from using notifications as a toggle button, as I ended up having about 40 instances of the plugin (two for the toggle button and one for the image, plus an extra image to 'show once on load'), which for some reason made the tour file loading take mo...

Manually show/hide notifications plugin

Hi, I'm using custom toggle button actions (via separate XML file) to open and close an (ALPO) Notifications plugin. In PTP I have added a Notifications instance (that just shows an image), set it to load on pano/tour start (show once is not checked). I can close it using the following code notif-ca...

Re: Sidebar plugin (FREE Beta!)

Hi, the sidebar looks great! My feedback: The default colours look good, very professional. Scrolling via mouse-wheel or click-and-drag (and swipe on touch devices, I imagine) is great. Lots of options to change colours, which is always helpful. Some things in addition to the other comment: - Abilit...

Re: Show/hide notifications plugin [SOLVED]

Thanks for the link. I didn't realise that there was now a pano-specific action call plugin - this is great! I was trying to use the pano-specific feature of the notifications plugin as a workaround. I'll revisit my set-up and get back to you. Just for info: I've got pano-specific 'intro' images tha...

Show/hide notifications plugin [SOLVED]

Hi, I am trying to use the notifications plugin as pano-specific image and toggle button. I might try a different approach, but first I'd just like to ask about the following issue. I've found that when a notification instance is set to show 'On pano load', once that notification is hidden, it won't...

Re: Open a pano from the website viewer [SOLVED]

Re: Website box auto height and/or width

Hi - thanks for your suggestion. The notifications plugin is probably the way to go. I like how the text box height resizes (set max width), as well as the a close button. One potential downside is that each text box requires an additional instance of the plugin - for my tours I might need close to ...

Website box auto height and/or width

I am using a website box to display different pieces of text information accessed via hotspots. Currently the container size is set to 'autosize', with the max width/height of the website set to 300x300. The problem I am having is that for small amounts of text, there is lots of whitespace (ugly!), ...

Re: PTP 2.13 uses my complete cpu while doing nothing [SOLVED]

I did some testing and the CPU seemed to be back to normal again. However, PTP is still being very sluggish. Actions like saving, building and previewing the tour can take a long time to initialise (i.e. the program acts stuck or frozen for a time). Strangely though, it's not consistent in the way i...
