Oculus does not work with Chromium

Hi I'm testing Panotour 2.5. I've installed the following things: -DK 2 for Oculus -Chromium The Oculus works fine when I use it with specific Applications like for example "MaxVR" but it does not work with Chromium. I've uploaded a testtour to a webserver and opened it in the Chromium Bro...

Re: VR Mode Button does not show up

I've installed the Final release of 2.5 (I guess I found a "BETA 4 2.5"-Link somewhere which directed me to the Final 2.5 Version. That's why I thought that I'm using the BETA 4). I wanna view the tour with the Oculus and/or Cardboard via the Webbrowser (either locally for testing or on an...

VR Mode Button does not show up

Hi I'm testing Panotour 2.5 Beta 4. I've "VR-Mode for Desktop" activated and added a "WebVR Button" from the Plugin-Library. But when I open the Tour (saved on my local networkdrive) in Firefox Nightly Build ("Mozilla WebVR Enabler" Plugin is installed), then the "...

Re: Hard- and Software suggestions for Interior Panoramatour

After exactly 2 years later I come back and ask again :-) I've tested the Ricoh Theta m15, it's super easy to use but the resolution of the images is to low. Has anyone tested the Ricoh Theta s yet ? They say that the resolution should be better, but is it good enough ? I guess not. Is there other/n...

Re: Ristrict user to watch specific rooms only

I could create a "Teaser-Tour" and a "Password-Tour" and managing it by .htaccess, is it that would you mean ;-) This way also the "Skinproblem" would be obsolet. Hi Alain! Yes - that´s what i meant. Guess you even can keep the floorplan - but without links to the &quo...

Re: Ristrict user to watch specific rooms only

@Klaus Would this also work with Skins ? Example: I have a Skin where I can popup a floorplan, when I go to the next room (linked by URL) then, I guess, the popuped floorplan would disapear, because the state of the Skin will be lost in the next room, right ? Edit: But basically it could work... I c...

Re: Ristrict user to watch specific rooms only

@mediavets Some real estate salesman do not want "open" every room of their real estates to the hole world and they want a "personal" contact to its customers. The idea is to tease customer by opening some rooms, if they want to see more then they have to contact the salesman by ...

Ristrict user to watch specific rooms only

Hi I'm searching for a solution to restrict users watching only some specific rooms of a real estate. Example: A tour starts on a extorior place (the garden for example) of a real estate. When the user wants to enter the house then a windows should pop up which tells him that he has to get a passwor...

Re: Hard- and Software suggestions for Interior Panoramatour

About half a year ago I saw an announcement of a camerasystem that takes 6 views (like from the faces of a cube) in one shot. It also does bracketing. And it automatically stiches the 6 views to a 360/180 Pano. It's not a videocamera like the ones on kolor.com, it's for highquality stills only. Cost...

Modify the behaving of the floorplan map ?

Hi I'm just testing Panotour Pro. I wanna do an indoor tour with a floorplan for orientation. I use the "Map-Plugin" for that. But I don't like the behaving of the floorplan: It just scales up and down by clicking on it and that looks kind of "cheap" from my graphical point of view. Is there a way t...

Okey, maybe some of the Kolor guys can explain me their productionconstruction ;-)

I'll keep my 10.5mm but I guess I will sell my "Nodal Ninja Ultimate R1" because it seems useless to me.

Kind regards

Thank you Klaus ! The conclusion is that, in combination with the Nikkor 10.5mm, I better use my "Nodal Ninja 4 R-D16" on my monopad instead of the "Nodal Ninja Ultimate R1". Otherwise it's impossible to do good spherical panoramas with a "Nodal Ninja Ultimate R1" in combination with a Nikkor 10.5mm...

Best method using a monopod and the Nikkor 10.5 mm ?

Hi What method/pattern do you use if you have a monopod using the Nikkor 10.5 mm ? I use this on top of the monopod: http://www.kolor.com/buy/photo-hardware/nodal-ninja-ultimate-r1-with-r-d5-rotator.html I do the method of Klaus, pitch -15° to reduce the nadirhole. But rotating 90° up for the zenith...

With a Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye you would require a min. of just 8 images with one exposure per shooting position. If I understand it right, this means 6 pictures horizontal (portrait) and one of the top (90° upward) and one from the bottom (90° downward) ? How do you suggest to do the downward one ? ...

Sorry again, Hans: that´s said too globally! As i wrote before: you can face interiors in which you have trouble to stitch the images because of large white or otherwise monochrome walls and ceilings. Here you´re either lost without xml or you need much of experience to stitch the images manually...

To be honest, Alain: your words about "sensors for x- und y-device-axis and by software you could emit the right "nodalpoint"" makes me wonder a bit . . ;) ;-) Have a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2th5qkbQ9WM I mean it must be possible that the pano-software for iPad and Co. should b...

If this is to be a commercial activity rather than hobby then in the first instance I suggest you invest in a fisheye lens - the Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye is good choice and with a D40 will provide a stitched spherical pano image of approx. 8000 x 4000 pixels - rather than new camera body (yiou can alw...
