Re: XML from Panoshoot 9 bytes !!

Can you verify the firmware version you are running?

There is an option in the config page that tells panoshoot to automatically download the xml files to your phone and then another session to put all session into one xml file. Is either of those options chosen?

Re: panoshoot not working

Stephen, There is a more current update than Build #98. Connect your Panoshoot module to your router so it has internet access and then go to the settings and check for update. It should find the latest update and install it automatically. If you need more detailed instructions let me know and I wil...

Hi panoramicessentials.com thanks for your detailed explanations! That's of great help! Hopefully I will soon be able to fix everything - I simply don't want to go back to my old GigaPan, on the other hand... this all seems to be very complicated and complex to set up correctly... :-/ Thomas Thomas...

Hi I recently bought a Panogear with Panoshoot to replace my GigaPan Epic100 I was using for several years. The Panogear looks great, and after the lecture of the manual it was rather easy to install Panoshoot, make the update to the newest SW release and hop out for a test shooting. I did NOT mana...

After a lot of "wailing and nashing of teeth" :/I've got my panoshoot working. Ive found that for 360X180 panoramas it works best when you preprogram your lens and mosaic sessions than shoot what I call a dry run( run the session with the camera off, you can do this in your living room) Then downlo...

Hi Guys Is the panoshoot faster than papywizard. My last shoot was close to an hour at sunset so massive light change. I read the T&C controller is faster because it uses jog vs move to? Looks like a nice product, esp with ability to control from tablet. Regards Mark YES. Panoshoot can currently ru...

Panoshoot only provides one XML per session. Does that mean you need to carry around a laptop for downloading each xml file after EACH pano-shoot SEPERATELY - before being able to shoot the next one? best, Klaus Definitely Not. Currently with iPhones/iPad file download is not allowed unless you hav...

Imported cube faces corrupt

When I import cube faces that I used Panotour Pro 1.8 to export for editing the Nadir the images are corrupted when reassembled into 360x180 pano. I tried it with several different panos and the result is the same. Unable to test whether panos exported as cube face in Panotour 2 have the same proble...

3. Can you post an example of an XML data file created by Panoshoot please? http://panoshoot.javqui.com/forum/session.xml Oh dear....this file may 'work' with the current APP/APG Papywizard Import wizard but it does not appear to be a Papywizard-compatible XML format data file. The Papywizard data ...

My point was that, in my opinion, when the user specifies automatically repeated shoots then Panoshoot should create a separate XML data file for each of the repeats. Now it sounds as if it might already do that. My understanding (misunderstanding?) from reading the User Manual is that if the user ...

Javqui Speed/accuracy trade-off. Thanks for the explanation. Interesting... But not really what I was try to get at. Let's be much more specific...in relation to using APP/APG to stitch panos using the Papywizard Import wizard, what what max. speed vs accuracy value would you advocate with a typica...

2. What happens if you set you an automatic repeat of a shoot? Do the initial and repeat shoots co-ordinate data get recorded in a single XML data file? If so, that wouldn't that be virtually useless with the APP/APG Papywizard Import wizard which is surely the reason to record the shooting co-ordi...
