Hi Mediavets.

No, it does not work from just the charger, or both the battery and the charger.

My battery delivers power certainly, because it starts all the way to the mainscreen as long as I keep the powerbutton pressed.

My Nokia N810 died...

Hi all, My Nokia N810 died... probably because I didn't use it for a month. I tried charging the battery external, which worked, but now I can only get the N810 to start up when I keep the power button pressed. I can use my 810, but as soon as I release the powerbutton it shutsdown. So... what can I...

HI Ed, Al the information you gave takes some time for me to digest, so I will reply as soon as I have. I also have a nikon d7000, so this about the g10 is additional. However, most of the time I can have the panogear and g10 with me (because those are mine). The D7000 has to be borrowed (company......

Hi Artisan, What you show me with the black arrow I do understand. I have never placed my G10 in such a manner. What I did in the end looks a bit (as in no protruding edge) like this: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Bs6yB7qFRxU/UESlQqv2zPI/AAAAAAAAApk/i5WuQmpChCc/s640/20120903_143543.jpg so I can...

@klausesser, thanks! @gkaefer, your last link was the part I was looking for, thanks! @artisan, wouldn't it be simpeler to use this part https://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p237_Starway-Prismenschiene-GP-L--mit-Laengsloch-und-1-4--Schraube.html and slide it in such a position ...

Hi Klausesser,

Becaus I have the G10, the screw connection between the camera and the rail must be somewhere near the pitch axis. Because you have a larger lens, you can place you camera much further from the pitch turning point.

But even with just this part sticking out, I cannot place the bracket because there is no room at all.

HI klausesser, how do I fit the disassembled part of the L bracket to the panogear? because the tightening knob (with the little leaver) is in the way.

The problem with the G10 is that the screw hole is not placed below the lens, but in the middle of the camera itself.

Do you know where I could find a flatter rail? The rail I got, came with the panogear.

Ok, a big problem. I cannot get the canon in it's nodal point. When using the L bracket my camera sits to far to the right (let's call that the X-axis). The Y-axis is not adjustable. And the Z-axis is. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-k0HkQGLZFWM/UESmeUZIIsI/AAAAAAAAAqM/6jfXABu1dyg/s640/20120903_1...

the mosaic always starts at the bottom left This could be changed in "Configuration/Mosaic/Start position" On the N810 I have the following options, overlap, start from, initial direction and CR. changing "start from" lets the pano start in the upper right corner. Ok the setup is working fine, now I have another problem. When I try to bracket shoot, the pano moves the camera before it is finished. Using the bracketing option doesn't work, because the panogear just presses the shoot button 3 times (or more, depending on the setting). The g10 simply takes the b...

But the EXIF data probably records the actual focal length - ie. 35mm equiv/4.5. What stitching software are you using? The values I gave are from the EXIF data. does that mean that every FL value has to be multiplied with 4.5 to see the 35mm equivalent value (28mm for example)? I use autopano and ...

The aspect is 4:3 instead of 3:2. I can simply edit that myself by changing values? (I know how to edit xml)
If I also want the panogear to take a picture straight up (90) and down to get a complete 360x180 sphere, how would I add that? (Or is that already added in the xml you provided?)

Optical multiplier only relates to add-on conversion lenses as I described in my earlier post. Ah that's great to know, thanks! Since your Canon G10 already assigns 35mm equiv. values to focal length indicators on the camera then I believe you should set the sensor coeff. to 1. Most of the time whe...

@mediavets, the value 4.5 can be found in the link provided. @claudevh, the focal length is already set at 28 in papywizard. So what exactly is the sensor coef? It cannot be 1.7 I guess, that would be too simple. *When I do want to zoom with my G10, do I need to both change focal and the optical mul...

Found the problem myself, After inspecting the "canon" cable, I found out that 1 end had a 2.5mm jacket ending with 2 black lines and the other ending 3 black lines. As I have a RS60-E3 wired remote control I know that the Canon needs a 2.5mm jacket with 2 black lines. But, the panogear needs the 2 ...

Canon G10

Hi guys, Simple question (I hope), what are the settings for the G10? I have pluged the wired trigger cable, but when I choose "shoot..." the panogear does go to the start position and begins taking pictures. However, papywizard thinks it making pictures but nothing really happens. So the panogear g...

Well, there you go Sanje:
Do you want to spend 2900 or 680?

Even with the touch control added (around 300) the price won't come near the 2900.
