Offline hosting for VR Headsets

Hello,

What's a good way to run virtual tours offline for use on VR Headsets at expos etc...? I've read that the Panotour Viewer is quite basic and "not intended for commercial use." What other options are there ?

Cheers,

Peter

External Google Map

Hello, Is there a simple way to externalize a Google Map with the hotspot and radar? We would like to embedded a tour within a page with the Google Map sat next to rather than within the tour itself ? I'm guessing this will involve coding KRPano, just asking in case there is a simple way of doing it...

Console Warnings

Hello,

I have a client who has expressed concern over a message from his web designer suggesting that there is an error in the code. The virtual tour is working fine, though I would like to reply with an answer of some sort to explain. Could someone help?

Here is the message:

Should panotour tours work on a slow internet connection?

Hello, One of my clients is complaining that the tours I've created for them aren't working on their 1mb internet connection, they don't load at all. They've tested the connection with speedtest, and it's definitely 1mbps. It works fine for them when they connect up to a faster internet. Is there a ...

Re: iPhone 5 issues with VR mode

My client has 9.2.1 on her iPhone 5, which is the latest version by the looks of it. Apparently it works fine via a direct link rather than through their website which uses a light box. I'm wandering if perhaps the lightbox is the issue? Here is a link to the page the 360vr images are hosted: http:/...

Using 2.5

Thank you Benjamin, I thought that too.... will ask them again if they have the latest version. My iPad hasn't been updated for a long time, everytime I update the thing it gets slower.

iPhone 5 issues with VR mode

Hello, One of my clients has noticed that the VR mode isn't working on the interactive images I've produced for them on the iPhone 5, where the VR mode button is ghosted out or not there. Apparently it works fine on an iPhone 6 though. I haven't got access to to either of these handsets so can't tes...

Re: Large Graphics on Mobile Device

Hello Benjamin, Thank you for your reply. I've worked out the combobox issue, that was my fault as I had open the 'For mobile only' plugin. I defiantly preferred the smaller graphics and had no issue touching them with my large fingers. Perhaps it would be nice to have the option to decide which siz...

Large Graphics on Mobile Device

I have noticed on my Nexus 5 that tours produced with Panotour 2.5 Beta3 still have oversized graphics, though the dropdown menu looks much better than in Beta2. Tours produced with Panotour 2.3.1 look fine. Both look the same on iPad.

Any ideas?

Panorama Combobox - Mobile [SOLVED]

Hello, Working on a tour interface at the moment in Panotour Pro 2.5. Have noticed the size of the Panorama Combobox has become larger than in older versions of the software. It looks awful ! Is there anyway to change it back to how it used to look? The dropdown menu doesn't look to bad, perhaps the...

Re: Hotspot Tags

I created a graphic to display on hover-over in flash and pressed for html, which was a little higher so you could view the graphic over your finger.

Hand coding isn't my thing :-( Bit tricky that.

Hotspot Tags

Hello, I've just published this image http://www.peterstephens.co.uk/gigapixel/hampsfell_lake_district/hampsfell_spherical_gigapixel.php with hotspots which zoom into areas within the 360vr image. I've just realised that the name tags don't work on mobile devices due to the hover-over, is there any ...

Re: Floorplan Position

I've turned the jpeg with a white background to a png with the white areas transparent, looks ok and happy with this now. The size isn't too bad with the png under 300kb rather than the original size around 70kb. I would still like to know how best to get a floorplan dead centre though, any ideas ? ...

Re: Floorplan Position

I've added a large floorplan, 1547px X 890px, the old one was 800px X 459px. It certainly better when viewed on a larger screen, but it's still not central when the aspect ratio changes. As per the screenshot.

Re: Floorplan Position

I'm I suppose to use a floorplan graphic that is larger? I can see this would work, but I would be worried about the file size.

Re: Floorplan Position

You can see in the following attachments. The background is usually transparent, but for these screenshots I have left it so it can be seen. screenshot01.jpg screenshot02.jpg screenshot03.jpg The floorplan is located top left of the container, only the container is central to the virtual tour.

Floorplan Position

Hi, I always seem to have problems getting floorplans to sit centrally to the window. It works fine when I put in pixel dimensions for the graphic, but this doesn't have an option to resize for smaller screens like it does when you use percentage. When I use percentage for the area width & heigh...
