Gosh, I thought that was one of the coolest uses of pano tech I've seen. Really amazing.

That was the thing that made the photo sort of neat to my eye -- the pebbles in the foreground, the rocks on the right, and the islands 1/2 mile away are all the same image size...sort of a cool example of perspective and relative position.

The Straights of Juan de Fuca, Washington

I took this using a sony nex-5. The camera isn't my favorite, but the tilting lcd screen made it v easy to take the shots for this. The stones in the foreground are about 1" (2.5 cm) in diameter, the rocks further out are about 12' high. I took the photos with the camera about an inch off the beach....

The raw converter does not seem to be working well with my new Sony Nex-5. The first image is autopano using jpgs converted by lightroom, the second is using Sony raw files

I really like the third one. What is the small vertical line just above the horizon about 45% fron the left edge? The color of the rocks and sky are great!

Here's my first attempt using AP 2.5. So far so good, no crashes, lots of settings to get sorted out.

2.07 hangs

I just installed the new version and it hangs (no crash) when making the transition from stitching to rendering in smartblend -- the little blue bar stops in the middle of the 'R'. I uninstalled 2.07 and reinstalled 2.06 and it works fine. I am using a Mac Pro desktop, Snow leopard, and a separate 1...

Oliviervallouise, very cool -- I missed yours first time around. Did you download all of the photos? I hopped around a bit but have not yet been through them systematically. The archive has dozens of rolls of film to look through, but I don't know how to write a script that would download them all a...

Funky sky in N Manitoba, CA

This is about 150 miles north of Winnipeg, outside of Fisher Branch, Manitoba, a tiny town north of...more land like this. It was a crazy sky. The image is 10x1 with a sony cybershot

I am having the same streaking problem, though not with every image set, with autopanogiga. It only occurs with smartblend. I am running a Mac Pro, 64 bit snow leopard, w/ 18 GB memory.

Not Monet...

I've been using APP more of late to try to capture the sense of detail one can get with large format film. This is 13x1, at 105mm, with a canon 5D, of a lilly pond in Maine,
Acadia Nat park.

I'm not much good at architectural photos, but this one turned out OK, 14x1 images, handheld canon 5D. Last summer. It looks great printed out ~12"x60"
