Re: Tour Hosted at AWS S3 does not match preview

360 - Thanks for that, after your post I double checked and it appears to be related to Safari, and it was a cached file.

Tour Hosted at AWS S3 does not match preview

I have a tour that I have generated and tested using PanoTour Pro 2.5. In addition to using the PanoTour preview I have the tour directory exposed by the Mac HTTP service. Both the preview and locally hosted version are displayed as expected. After uploading all the files to Amazon S3 using the &quo...

Neutralhazer plugin destroys APG control point detection

I have a 600 pic pano (5r x 30c x 4b) that comes out of control point detection wonderfully from the native jpg files. After processing the files through the Neutralhazer (3 brackets at 80, 1 bracket at 70) control point detection yields a spaghetti mess with hundreds of "sub panorama's". ...

Re: Creating Plugin to Overide Autorotation (PTP 2.2)

Thanks Ben, I've corrected the error in nextstop (now ==) and changed my oninterupt statement to use the action() function. Here is the updated code for gotostop, it's still not working. User interactions to move/zoom are still blocked. Some user interactions are not blocked (Play/Pause and DoubleCl...

Re: Creating Plugin to Overide Autorotation (PTP 2.2)

Thanks Ben, but I'm still stuck on the non-blocking use of lookto. I execute lookto with both shortestway and nonblocking set to true but user action appears to be blocked. I've added an oninterupt call to stoplookto before the lookto command, but the call still blocks user interaction. I am able to...

Re: Creating Plugin to Overide Autorotation (PTP 2.2)

I'm not sure if you looked at the code, but under the covers it is just a series of "Guide Stops", each with it's own target (h/v/fov), a tween type and time for the transition, and a delay before the next transition, so you have a good bit of control on transitions. I did have to make &qu...

Re: Creating Plugin to Overide Autorotation (PTP 2.2)

Just an update, I have a beta version of the "Guided Tour" feature that I was looking for up and running. If you'd like to see it go to http://www.ssgpp.com/forcorners/ - For now you have to pause the tour to be able to use pan/zoom controls, so I'm still trying to figure out the "non...

Re: Creating Plugin to Overide Autorotation (PTP 2.2)

Thanks for the work around - Genius! I've tested and it works great.
I'm still hoping they fix the problem, but I've got a working solution for now.

Google Analytics for SWF

Hi; I use PTP 2.2 to create my gigapixel tours, and once generated I include the google analytics code in the generated html file, and that part works great. However, when I configure the HTML to support Facebook Live content in posts, facebook will load the swf file directly so I do not get analyti...

lookto tween time value not accepting variables [SOLVED]

Hi, this could be a syntax or coding problem, but given the variable <krpano foo="4"/> the following command works as documented lookto(0.1,0.2,0.12,tween("easeOutQuint",4)); but the following command appears to use a tween time of 0 lookto(0.1,0.2,0.12,tween("easeOutQuint&q...

Re: Creating Plugin to Overide Autorotation (PTP 2.2)

Ok, I think I've found all my typo's and syntax errors now, and things appear to be working as I want with 1 exception. The following command works just fine. lookto(0.1,0.2,0.12,tween("easeOutQuint",4)); but the following command uses a time of 0 <krpano foo="4"/> .... lookto(0....

Re: Creating Plugin to Overide Autorotation (PTP 2.2)

I've made some progress, but I can't seem to get the donecall to work, and I'm starting to wonder if I understand the requirements for the autorotation event handlers. Is there any documentation on when the onstartautorotation onstopautorotation onpauseautorotation onresumeautorotation are called? I...

Re: Creating Plugin to Overide Autorotation (PTP 2.2)

Many thanks to benj33 - I've made considerable progress, but I'm having some problems with the lookto action in nonblocking mode. More specifically the following command works (of course the nextstop() action is never called because it's non-blocking): lookto(get(data[get(stopname)].toH), get(data[g...

PTP 2.2 Output Filename Truncated

The output file name appears to have some rather puzzling and undocumented limitations. I typically name my pano files as YYYY.MM.DD.NN which has not given me any problems in APG or Photoshop. However when I provide the output name of 2014.10.09.04 to PTP it generates 2014.10.09.html and 2014.10.09d...

Re: Creating Plugin to Overide Autorotation (PTP 2.2)

So, if I add code the code
Code: Select all
  <action name="startautorotation">
    set(guided, true);
    callToMyCode();
    events.dispatch(onstartautorotation);
  </action>

to my tour.xml will that code be executed instead of the same action in the _tour.xml or in addition to?

Thanks

Re: Creating Plugin to Overide Autorotation (PTP 2.2)

Thank you Claus, I'm not sure if you know about the _core.xml code, but what I really need help with is over-riding the Auto Rotation features with my own actions. Here are a few more specific questions: Is there documentation on the <scene> xml? Can I add "lookto" actions in the <scene> x...

Creating Plugin to Overide Autorotation (PTP 2.2)

I'm am creating a "Guided Tour" plugin that guides the user through a series locations (h,v,fov) on each pano. I would like to over-ride the functions that support autorotation (play/pause buttons and integration with Auto Tour). I'm thinking maybe I can replace the XXXautorotation actions...

Re: Simple Button not clickable and other problems

Ok, I think I found the problem. The pano description is positioned in the upper-left quadrant. When the button is positioned in the same quadrant the button is not clickable, and the entire upper-left quadrant is a dead-zone for drag-to navigation in Safari. Now that I've moved the buttons position...

Here is the url that I want to use when get things working: https://www....

Simple Button not clickable and other problems

Re: Createing a "Guided" tour

Klaus;

I was using the term "Frame" to describe a "Stop on the Guided Tour" - in coding terms it's a Horizontal/Vertical destination and FOV within the pano that will be used with the lookto action. Hope this helps to make it a bit more clear.

Re: Createing a "Guided" tour

I am using PTP 2.2 - love it, but need an enhancement. A "Guided Tour" is an enhancement to the existing "Auto Tour" feature. Rather than a straight pan across the image from a specific starting point I would like to pan and zoom from a starting point to a series of specific &quo...
