Hans, I use this method: http://www.kolor.com/forum/p49511-2009-08-02-22-35-49?pid=49511#p49511
and unfortunately, I have not been able to get good results with the markers.

Can you detail exactly how it works for you? Step by step?

Thanks!

I'm still waiting for a masking tool similar to PTGUI as well. I've tried the green and red markers for removing myself and nodal ninja. They don't work reliably for me. I've gone back to using Photoshop for the masks. Another feature I'm still waiting on is the ability to designate an image to be t...

I have a samyang (branded rokinon) and a canon t2i. The defaults work fine. The only thing I have to change is manually telling it that the images are fisheye since the lens doesn't talk to the camera. I've mentioned my setup before ( http://www.kolor.com/forum/p94459-2012-02-01-19-49-18#p94459 ), b...

Georg, I'm on a mac, and I have used the krpanotools to convert equirectangular to cube faces and then back again. I have not checked to see if every feature of the krpanotools are available on the mac, but at least some of them are. Which is not to say that I think Panotour shouldn't add this featu...

I'm still using the gyro button. You can see it on any of the monitoring sites here:
http://www.anra.org/divisions/water_quality/crp/monitoring_sites/
The templates folder is accessible from within panotour under the edit menu.

get info on the generated folder and under the sharing and permissions section, set the "everyone" group to "read only" then click the sprocket at the bottom of the dialog and select, "apply to enclosed items" As far as I know, You have to do it every time you generate a tour though. Kinda inconveni...

I also have a problem with the reindexing, but for a different reason. I add new panos from the same location to a tour over time, and I always want the newest to come up first. Every time I add a pano and make it the first to display, all the others are reindexed, and output again. this is quite an...

I have not done any testing, but could it have something to do with "satellite" being chosen as the map type?
OSM doesn't have a satellite option do they?

I have that exact setup. I do this: Under the Autopano preferences image tab, check the "use the following if no EXIF data is found" then enter 14.97 as the 35mm equiv and set the lens type to fisheye. You'll need to restart autopano for the setting to take effect. once that is set, everything works...

I have a few with the combobox and gyroscope enabled here: http://www.anra.org/divisions/water_quality/crp/monitoring_sites/ Just pick a location to view, then scroll about halfway down the resulting page to find the panoramas. (the four locations near Tyler don't have panoramas yet, so avoid them)

Thanks for the response. 1. the reason I want this is because I'm adding photos to tours over time, and I'm using rsync to upload the tour to my web server. Ideally, it would leave the images alone for parts of the tour that have not changed, so that they wouldn't need to be re-uploaded constantly. ...

Extended list of feature requests.

Sorry to cram all this in to a single post with a vague title. I'm too pressed for time to do it in a more orderly fashion. 1. Don't rebuild the multi-resolution image files unless necessary. Panotour is smart enough to keep track of this and not rebuild the images while it is open, but if I close t...

Ok, I'm still not 100% happy with this, but it seems to be working. You do need to make sure you've activated the gyroscope plugin, and the iPhone viewer when generating the tour, or this may do something weird. I have not tested it. files are in this zip: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/554596/ptp-gyro-tem...

It looks like you can create enough of an xml template for this purpose. They're in the templates folder under "menu". If you wanted to fully integrate the function, you would have to make changes in the "themes" folder as well. I will probably need to set some of this up for myself, and I would be ...

ok, this makes a bit more sense, but I'm still not sure that it would hide the gyro button on devices that are html5, but don't have a gyro, such as the first gen iPad or some android phones. Anyone care to test? http://test.anra.org/gyrotest first, make both the enabled and disabled buttons hidden ...

It can be done, but as far as I know, you have to edit the xml to achieve it. http://test.anra.org/gyrotest (this url is for my testing, so it will not be available indefinitely) You'll need to have a couple of images to use as buttons: http://test.anra.org/gyrotest/builddata/graphics/menu/menu-gyro...

Probably the best thing to do, from a users perspective, would be to store both the full path and a relative path. Then, when reopening the pano, if the images are not present at the full path, try the relative path. As an alternative to storing a relative path to each image, the pano file could sto...

My main problem with the exposure fusion is that I can't get the bracketed images to align reliably. The same problem discussed here: http://www.kolor.com/forum/t13439-problem-with-alignment-of-stacks-when-bracketing I'm fairly happy with the look of the output, just not with the alignment. I do thi...
