Re: Autopano Video 2.3.3 unfit for purpose

Last response from support was July 21st :( At the moment it's just £300 down the drain for completely unusable software

Re: Autopano Video 2.3.3 unfit for purpose

Have the same problem for months, got no solution and I got a new and powerful Laptop with almost the best hardware. AVP2.3.3 crashes every time, either I'm trying to work with it or I do nothing it crashes. It seems like the GUI is not working anymore, so I have to use taskmanager to close it. The...

Re: Autopano Video 2.3.3 unfit for purpose

Just played with the latest AV2 version and the scrubbing along the timeline still crashes the software. At least this time the crash reporter didn't crash and I could send the report for assessment. What's really annoying is I've been using the Pro version and I haven't had ONE crash. Very Very dis...

Re: Autopano Video 2.3.3 unfit for purpose

Hi Kev, Thank you for the details. I'd like you to try one more thing please: in Autopano Video Pro 2.5 beta 2 go into the preferences, disable the GPU processing, close, restart the program and try to render your project. Is it crashing? FYI: The pro version uses the GPU not only for rendering but...

Re: Autopano Video 2.3.3 unfit for purpose

Update:

I noticed there was Autopano Video 2 b2 update so I installed it and then loaded the test project file created with Autopano Video Pro v2.5 beta 2. Once loaded I still can't do something as simple as scrubbing through the timeline without the software crashing completely. :(

Re: Autopano Video 2.3.3 unfit for purpose

Hi Martin, I found a bit of time earlier than expected :) Autopano Video Pro 2.5beta downloaded and installed without problems I used a pair of 1Gb videos that were unedited master files produced by a Kodak Pixpro SP360k dual camera rig It took me less than 5 minutes to synchronise them, stitch them...

Re: Autopano Video 2.3.3 unfit for purpose

Thank you for the response Martin. I'll install the latest beta of the Pro version this evening and test it and report the findings. The pair of Kodak video files are straight from the camera, unedited. The processing is done on a laptop with 2 x 256Gb SSD drives running in Raid 0 with Win10 64bit h...

Re: Autopano Video 2.3.3 unfit for purpose

Good to see there is a good Kolor support team on the forum, not one response from anyone :( What's the point in having a support forum if there isn't any support?

Very disappointing for what I considered a quality company.

Autopano Video 2.3.3 unfit for purpose

Quite a harsh title but when a programme crashes almost everytime I click on a feature I have to call it unfit for purpose. I've used Autopano Giga for a number of years and I don't think it has ever crashed on me even when stitching hundreds of raw files into a single panorama. With Autopano Video ...

Just an update which maybe of use to others. I originally uploaded the panorama to my website using the trial version and saw the trial version message, fair enough. I then registered and reuploaded the panorama and still saw the trial version message. The problem was Cloudflare buffering, I use Clo...

I'm not sure what's happened ??? I was seeing a horizontal black bar across the screen with the Error message mentioned above. Now I see the panorama as well, that has totally thrown me. It appears that the problem sorted itself out some how. Sorry for wasting your time but thank you for the respons...

Panotour 1.8 Registered but "Error: Panotour trial version" on website

Hi, I've purchased the full version of Panotour v1.8 this evening and registered it (confirmed it in the about box). I uploaded all the panorama files and folders in the local build folder to a new folder on my website but get the Trial version error watermark i.e. http://www.photosbykev.com/panoram...

The arca swiss clamp is shown in the ebay pictures, it is a significant upgrade from the camera clamp that is supplied as standard on the Epic pro. The quick release plate for the clamp is provided and it fits any camera, including the 5D MkII which is the camera I've been using. Original documentat...

FS Nokia N800

I'm in the process of developing my own motorised system and the Nokia N800 I was using with the Merlin head is no longer required so I'm selling it. Rather than putting it up on ebay immediately I thought I would offer it on the forum first. The system includes the Nokia N800 in excellent condition...

Cemaes Bay Gigapan

1st play with a Gigapan Epic Pro driving a Canon 7D and Canon 100mm lens shooting Cemaes Bay harbour on Anglesey, N. Wales. 296 images makes up this small 2Gb panorama which is 133,000 pixels wide. Processed in Gigapan stitcher which seems to make a pretty good job of it. http://farm5.static.flickr....

It sounds like the merlin socket is a mono audio socket which would automatically connect the ground and ring i.e the ground and focus on a stereo plug?

The merlin only outputs a single pulse to trigger the camera shutter circuit. Normally IS/focus is activated by a pulse on the focus line of most/all cameras i.e the half press position and then a signal pulse on the shutter circuit fires the camera. The merlin can't provide both signals unfortuneat...
