Re: Using APG to stitch a linear pano - problems

Hi Kev, I assume you've probably tried to add automatic control points but manual control point which is pixel accurate? Cheers, Olivier Hi Olivier my process was: Dragged the raw images (sets of 3 exposures) into LR, ran the lens correction and verticals correction, wb etc and synced all the files...

Re: Using APG to stitch a linear pano - problems

Hi Kev, Congratulations! Impressive work with all the difficulties that this implies. I'm not sure I can see errors in your job. Accessing some panoramas is sometimes quite long (400MB lan speed) Cheers, Olivier Thank you Olivier, the master image files are around 300Mb (30000x15000) but I haven't ...

Re: Using APG to stitch a linear pano - problems

Can someone advise me on the best way to update a master image in Panotour Pro. What I currently do is rename the image folder in 360Data so Panotour doesn't find it and overwrite the old master image with the new version before loading up Panotour and rebuilding the tour which forces the software ...

Re: Using APG to stitch a linear pano - problems

More progress and fine tuning with some offline help, I'm fairly happy with the result. I'll have a play with some of the options being suggested in the links above to see if there is further improvements to be had. http://www.photosbykev.co.uk/misc/CloisterEastv24096.jpg Can someone advise me on th...

Re: Using APG to stitch a linear pano - problems

Thank you Olivier, I am making progress since my original post by pre-processing the images in LR to remove as much distortion as possible, using the lens correction and Vertical correction functions. Unfortunately I can't move further back to use a telephoto lens, as the other side of the Cathedral...

Using APG to stitch a linear pano - problems

Hi, Is it possible to use Autopano Giga to stitch a set of images when the camera is being physically moved between shots, rather than a simple rotation around the NPP? I'm trying to shoot a series of stained glass windows in a long narrow corridor i.e. one portrait image for each window and then mo...

Re: Panotour Pro 2.5.11 Compass plugin bug

Hi, I checked this issue. It seems it is only a graphical bug in Panotour Pro interface. If you uncheck the display of the compass, and then you re-set it, the compass is in the right direction . And in the tour, the directions are OK. We will try to fix the graphical issue in the GUI asap. Thanks ...

Panotour Pro 2.5.11 Compass plugin bug

Hi, I've just paid for Panotour Pro and playing with a tour. I have a number of groups with a few scenes in each. I'm trying to use the compass plugin on the scenes within a group. If I change the yaw on a scene and save as its default view it changes the compass position on other scenes within the ...

Re: Scrollarea.js decoding error after update to v2.5.11

The issue is resolve on our side but you have to wait the next release for that due to the Panotour Standard encoding. I've no ETA date for it. You can use the previous Panotour Std version if needed : 2.5.10 Thank you Benjamin, I'll stay with the current version for now, rather than end up with ot...

I report that as Urgent to solve into a next release.
If a solution is found I'll post here the workaround.

With a simple thumbnails bar plugin ?

Panotour Benji33 using a simple Menu > Panorama Combobox dropdown list. The error occurs if I include the Combobox in the build and doesn't occur if I remove it from the build.

Scrollarea.js decoding error after update to v2.5.11

Everything was loading and displaying correctly until I updated Panotour today and now the Combo dropdown box fails to load and the error above appears in the debugging. I've removed the combobox from the project and rebuilt it without and the project is ok. If I re-add the combobox this error comes...

Re: facebook panorama metadata missing

Just save the pano as a jpg (max size 6000 x 3000 and it must be exactly 2 : 1 aspect ratio) and then right click on the file and select properties > details and add:

camera manufacturer Ricoh
camera Ricoh Theta S

apply the changes and upload to FB, works everytime

Just played with the latest AV2 version and the scrubbing along the timeline still crashes the software. At least this time the crash reporter didn't crash and I could send the report for assessment. Hi Kev, Thank you for the details. I'd like you to try one more thing please: in Autopano Video Pro 2.5 beta 2 go into the preferences, disable the GPU processing, close, restart the program and try to render your project. Is it crashing? FYI: The pro version uses the GPU not only for rendering but...

Update:

I noticed there was Autopano Video 2 b2 update so I installed it and then loaded the test project file created with Autopano Video Pro v2.5 beta 2. Once loaded I still can't do something as simple as scrubbing through the timeline without the software crashing completely. :(

Re: Autopano Video 2.3.3 unfit for purpose

Good to see there is a good Kolor support team on the forum, not one response from anyone :( What's the point in having a support forum if there isn't any support?

Very disappointing for what I considered a quality company.

Autopano Video 2.3.3 unfit for purpose

Quite a harsh title but when a programme crashes almost everytime I click on a feature I have to call it unfit for purpose.
