180 degree xml issue from Clauss rodeon preview xml import

All Clauss imports derived from Rodeon Preview Pro require 180 y translation initially and consequently after every optimization.

So Glad to see this thread! Depending on the length of capture the color can shift too. Late morning to afternoon blue can change hue and intensity. So, there are other elements to consider in the gradation. Could the solution be to have a color anchor that states this a a gradation color? I'm sure ...

There are 2 issue here. Issue 1. If APG 2.6b1 is already running. Aperture export will fail. Issue 2. Aperture does not export a tif or jpeg, it exports the raw file. Then APG decodes it. The work around it to develop the file and save to tiff then select the tiff and edit with plugin autopano plugi...

Smaller amount of images seems fine. This was made without papywizard plugin. The program eventually crashed. I'll post the crash log later.

[APG 2.6 b1 Osx 10.6.8] Aperture Export Bug

If APG.6b1 is not running export works well. If APG2.6bi is running export from aperture will fail. Upon successful export from aperture 3, the raw files are decoded by APG. Aperture should export a tif similar to the external photo editor preferences.

I second this idea. I recently did many large water images. The lack of control points made the image "un-straightable" I tried every tool. I ended-up using puppet warp in CS5. On 10+gigapixel images, puppet warp was painfully slow.

Kolor's Paris image was the last Quality Gigapixel of size. Continuously, everyone thereafter spent very little time on the result image. Everybody who posted raw stitcher quality images enabled those to to do the same. 2010: lots of new records= decline of quality.

Get 8gb sticks or what ever the largest your mother board supports and buy more if you need them. If you are going to aggressively edit the image you will need much more RAM for photoshop. I have 32gb and fast raids. Big pictures take a couple of weeks or longer to complete. There is also the quick...

It could work as you state. The interaction between hardware and software with the addition of the camera operator make for some unpredictability. It would depend on the deviation of optimized positions from that of the import matrix. Proper entrance pupil alignment would help contribute to the cons...

Backlash will be the issue with belt or servo driven machines. If you can import the matrix via gigapan or papywizard import you can get a start. However, if there are not many control points, optimization could have some strange results with large lenses (200mm+). I have done many of these types of...

[APG 2.5B1 OSX ] Optimization during open of previous project=changes

Upon opening a project saved with APG 2.09 the new beta will re-optimize the images and create a completely different image without respect to my previous settings for the saved project. I used best guess and manually moved images. These changes are not understood by the new 2.5 B1.
