Virtual flight over river Loire / Promenade aérienne sur la Loire

Hi ! This "aerial virtual tour" over river Loire and its estuary covers 140km (to my knowlege it's a record in length ???). It was developped for the "GIP Loire Estuaire" french organization in charge of studying this fabulous environment. ( http://www.loire-estuaire.org/ ) Scenario and texts by Ste...

Bonjour Gérald

Yes my spot does exceed 180°. However, that's not the first time that I make such a large spot, but its the first time this strange thing happens.

OK I'll send the requested files anyway. Hope you can sort this out....

D'avance merci...

Yes very narrow. However, if you "pan" (is it the right word?) slowly and continuously over 360° to look at the full panorama, then you suddenly have this blue flash in the middle of nowhere, it's very annoying !

No, I don't agree with you, it happens every time the funny shaped basin is in the center of the view, as on the screen copy I posted before. Then if you move the view a few degrees right or left, then it quickly disappears.

[PTP 1.8.0 Win 64bits] Polygonal hotspot active outside its surface

Hi, I have a strange bug to report : I am using a partial panorama (360° x64°, offset -16°). I have created a large polygonal hotspot (about 30 points), close to the bottom of the pano. After virtual tour generation, it appears that this hotspot is active at a place where it shouldn't be, at approx ...

Extra features needed ...

Hi, This is realy a great toool, the principle is really nice. However, there are a few missing features, which tend to make it a bit difficult to master : - the distant background tends to be blueish. This is normal, as long as it stays hazy. But once the haze is removed, this blue shift becomes a ...

Hi Absolutely Great !!!!! I'm in aerial photography, and I ALWAYS have hazy backgrounds. I used to solve this (more or less) graduated filters in Lightroom. But this is much, much better !!! :) Three remarks to improve the product : 1- It would be great to be able to use it in lightroom, where the w...

Yeah, that could possibly be a problem, but right now, that's not my main concern. I'm just wondering if its feasable. It seems to me not very difficult, but however, I'm not smart enough to do it myself.:( The copyright problem could in many cases be overcome rather easily (asking permission to the...

Hi Just a suggestion, which could help many... and adress one of my present customer requests  : Could it be possible to design a "google map" style interface, but with user supplied map ? I'll try and explain : The plain "map" feature (not the google one) does a good job because it works ...

Hi Alexandre. APG crashed, after quite a long time without. Relaunched crashed again (with Open office icon still disabled). I have now disabled AVAST icon overlay handler. Still crashing.:( I'd like some more guidance on what to do, because it can take a long time if I disable everything which has ...

Hi Alexandre I tried what you asked for : I disabled in ShellExView the third party icon or thumbnail extentions. I guess third party means "appart from microsoft files". The only one I found was open office. I disabled this one (see screen copy). This time, instead of crash, I had a hang. Once agai...

To alexandre

I'll try installing shexview-x64, but it'll only be usefull if I can find a way to start APG with a predictable crash. If it only happens now and then it'll be difficult to find a "working' config !!! I'll try something next week anyway.

The problem is, in my case it crashes only sometimes, depending on its temper. It seems in good mood right now  : no crash . I'll try again later, maybe tomorrow, but more certainly on monday. Looking for PTP ressources, templates... already developped by kolor

Hi I'm looking for templates of things that have been done already, that it would sound stupid to re-develop. I saw that there were request quite similar to mine here and there on the forums, but the answers exist, all on the superb paris 26 Gigapixel show ( http://www.paris-26-gigapixels.com/index-...

Actually, crash occurs in both cases, but randomly : sometimes crash, and sometimes not. And BTW, when I mention adding a jpeg, it is in the layer pannel of the edit panorama window, bouton "add images". When I mention browsing a .pano, crash occurs in the "recent files" item of the file menu, and i...

Hi everybody I seem to have the same sort of problem : when using the explorer to open a .pano file, or add an extra .jpeg file to existing pano : windows crashes once the explorer browse window is open. Aerial pano : selecting "good" images for the calculation

Hi I'm moving on with my aerial panos, shot from helicopter. Thanks to all that helped me upto now, I've gone quite a bit further. This is the problem I now have : due to (small) movements while taking pictures, there are some paralax problems between foreground and background, so that when APG stit...

Thanks Andrew, I'll ask away. (it might be worthwhile to create a new topic ? I don't know) About APG. I have updated ;) , now using 2.6.0. I'm trying to stitch a 360/180 aerial view. Of course I use "multiple point of view" option. My usual main problem is that the horizon is not straight. Looks li...

Hmm.. I see. My problem is that both zenith and nadir are difficult to shoot due to stupid things you have on helicopters , namely the skids (that get in the way to shoot the nadir) and the rotor that gets in the way to shoot zenith. They are nevertheless quite usefull in these machines ;) For this ...
