Sorry for the delay... its about a 4x6 with graduated neutral density filters across the top rows, and fill flash and a polarizer across the bottom. This allowed me to take the glare off of the water w/ the polarizer and throw some light on the foreground too. Thanks. ps this was not HDR rendered, j...

Chicago w/ disposable cameras...

Just thought it would be fun and funky to shoot some playful photos from a trip to Chicago using disposable cameras and changing the orientation of the camera a bit to add some odd egdes. Scanned the negatives in w/ a film scanner. Hancock Building http://members.cox.net/christiankiely/hancock.jpg H...

Crystal Cove Sunset 03-JUL-2005

Haven't posted anything in a while... here's a new one:

Fuji S3 Pro
Nikon 50mm 1.8
21 source images

Ironically, I used the (beta) bracketed blending tool and kinda stumbled thru it prior to reading the wiki.

New Carpet in the High Desert

Damn it's slow around here... here's one shot today in the high deserts of California. Spring time in the Mojave Desert... a Joshua Tree surrounded by carpets of goldfield flowers. Yes, I know about the ghosting on the bottom center... this is just from a 10% render and it was incredibly windy. I'll...

Yes, I noticed that after I posted. I fixed it since then, the image above was from a 5% render. The full version is taken care of, but thanks. It's a long story...

EDIT: I uploaded a new photo... you shouldn't see it now.

Georges: I love this camera, but right now APP is not configured to take advantage of the Wide Dynamic Range of the S3. Actually the best results from the S3 come from WDR shots that are converted w/ Adobe Camera RAW. But... that alters what's in the file vs. the EXIF data so the results are off. Bi...

Bison Landscape (layered output)

This is a 7 source image pano. 6 of them are standard portrait shots w/ a 50mm prime lens. The last shot was a landscape shot w/ a 50mm lens of just about all of the bison (minus the two on the left). I did standard color matching and output w/ layers... the bison were moving as the images were bein...

Did you get any wildlife panos? Actually, yes. I decided that I would try some detailed environmental wildlife shots. So, what I did was take a full frame pic of an animal (landscape), then shoot 3 more shots (e.g. left, upper left and above) to compositionally put the animal in one corner w/o over...
