Yes that is my unit. I am just selling off units I have since the electronics have proven to be my downfall, I'm a machinist not an electronics engineer. I know you can't build these for this price, so I am clearing them out for bellow my cost, to get lower pricing it would have taken orders in hund...

DIY camera mounts on eBay

I have some of my camera mounts I made on eBay. They have no electronics since this was my down fall, but I am sure DIY people can make great use of these units in a dolly setup.

It appears that my computer has an old version installed and I can't seem to get it to update. I've tried to install the new version of libgphoto2 but somethings not working. What version of Linux do you use, I will try to get it installed on my netbook so everything is up to date.

Sorry I read over the first post too fast when I saw the second. I added the patch to the plugin but now it stops responding while trying to connect with the hardware. I 'll write this up in the gphoto group.

Could it be that my camera outputs a 's' at the end of the shutter speed and that is the problem?

I just tried using the gphoto plugin when I try to connect the hardware it shows it connects but doesn't initialize. I am using a netbook running Mint 10 and a Nikon D300. I can get Gtkam to connect to the camera. Are there some files I have to modify to create the proper connection?

Refocusing

I have realized that too much of my time has been spent letting the smoke out of electronics and creating code that nothing likes. I miss doing my photography and other fine things. So I will be selling off all my mechanical components to those who would like to add their own electronics/software. I...

Cuba is starting to rebuild slowly. It is hard for people to fix up anything since they only make enough money to survive. Amazingly they are some of the friendliest people I have met and never did I fell unsafe, okay a few taxi rides we a bit of a thrill ride. Tourism is becoming a bigger part of t...

A few shots from Cuba

I took these in Cuba still learning how it's done, but must say Papywizard performed flawlessly. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2055/5718412361_b299b30f6d_b.jpg Casa 1932 Sitting/Dining room http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2726/5715758436_4361745b86_b.jpg Hotel Raquel

The only thing I can think of is it's the version of Kubuntu I am running on my netbook. I downloaded the latest files and it created the same file structure.

Found the problem just don't know how to solve it. The data file has the wrong structure it goes usr/local/bin not usr/bin so it is adding the 'local' directory.

It is all there, and when I look through the Nokia file system it all lists out just like the archive data.tar.gz
In terminal I go to the directory usr/local/bin and enter papywizard.sh it replies not found. but I can see the file exists in GPE File manager.

I take the files from the Dist folder on a card that I put in the Nokia. From there I double click on it and the application manager starts up and asks if I would like to upgrade the existing install. After it is finished the installer claims it was installed and it is on the list of installed progr...

Should I require any extra libraries in the Python 2.5 installation? I ran setup using command $ python2.5 maemo/setup.py bdist_debian
It ran and created a new papywizard_2.1.22-1_all.deb but once again it installs without showing up in the application manager.
