Re: another stränge thing:

that is OSX hiding your library folder in 10.7 You'll have to trick it into showing you where it is, then best thing to do is create and alias of your library and then you'll have ease of access to it. It's a rather annoying thing OSX decided to do. There's a load of free scripts to show all folders...

actually pretty sure you need to centralise the vertical midpoint in the pano and it should get rid of the wobble curve

I would think that the projection when rendering in APG/PTP is different to the tiling choise in KRPano. So that the projection in PTP is cylindrical and slicing in KRP is spherical or vice versa. if they are both the same then it could be that you need the same dstance above the 0º horizon as belo...

Also, if someone has a tutorial on how to perform lens correction via Photoshop, I'd appreciate it. PS CS5 Filter> Lens Correction> and then from in there find your lens from the list and it should have defaults to remove vignetting and pin cushion effect ascociated with that lens, you can also man...

Quite simply correct the vignetting by using lens correction parameters in Photoshop or Lightroom (or whatever suits) - then you'll start stitching with clean jpgs.
I'd also have a closer look at blending options as this would have quite a different results I'd imagine.

Which begs the question - why are they even on this forum? Help forums exist solely for the purpose of getting a heads up and fixing a problem without having to read the entire guide. They're either in the wrong place or they don't realize that the real reason they're here is to show off and feel s...

Yeps Lumelix, Rendering is no problem......but when you want to throw the final panorama into KRPANO you can run into trouble. On my 8 Gb (carefull Hans is watching ;)), I made a 2.4 Gpixel sphere in APP (worked like a charm). Then I used KRPANO to create 6 cubefaces (to edit the nadir) after that ...

trying to build virtual tour images with just 2 fisheye images.

with a 5 degree overlap <3% overlap when 25% is whats recommended. Try using 4 photos and another 2 for the top and the bottom and see how much easier life can be:):)

Hardly used Gigapan Epic Pro For Sale

Putting my wonderful Gigapan Epic Pro up for sale. It's an extremely powerful tool, which when coupled with one of my favourites softwares AutoPanoGiga can make devastatingly large photos. I've only very lightly used it (i've 2 this is my backup), without even having put 4 full battery cycles throug...

Since your ram only spins up to 4gb in the original post, it may be a 64/32bit thing, might be worth investigating. another path of investigation that would be worth checking out is see how well it does at detecting 8-bit jpg, 8-bit tiffs rather than 16bit tiffs. And then try and do a selection of 3...

Perhaps it's something not so hardware related?

If you turn off optimization option when you run detection what are the results?

each row should stitch normally as far as i understand (just camera pan).

Stitch those 3 rows and then Photoshop them together. it may be asking a bit much to get APG to resolve the whole thing

*EDIT
or stitch the 3 rows and then import them into APG

you can then render it as kro file that will allow +300k px size.

Of course what you're going to do with a kro file of that size is another matter, as PS doesnt handle kro files AFAIK

Batch Pano File Generation

Happy New Year all firstly :) So mulling a few things over the break... Ive created a template pano that I'd like to apply to a large amount of jpgs. It's a four photo pano and I've each 'face' in separate folders named sequentially: Face1_0001, Face2_0001, Face3_0001, Face4_0001 Face1_00...
