Originaly I posted on this and got no replies... no wonder as I soon found out after spending many hrs in various verizon stores. You are all correct... plus... from what I understand as of a week ago on the news channel... it sounds like Adobe Flash is being phased out all together. I can tell you ...

Tripjip, I'm trying to address this problem as well. Could you explain... "maybe you should go for HTML5 on android, too?" BTW... You are correct about Flash not being installed... but worse than that, it is currently unavailable from the app store. My authorized dealer even tried to get it though a...

IPhone/SmartPhone/Ipad VT's

I've been away for a while and need to get up to speed on having devices like IPhone/SmartPhone/Ipad, etc use my VT's. 1. What version program do I need? 2. Can I convert older VT's from the final files designed for my website with extentions like swf, apt, kpt. from my older programs like Kolor Pan...

Thanks Mark.

Interesting unit. I remember when you made the prototype. It might do the trick for me as I also need to do HDR and remote start. To that end, I left a question message on your site.

Need simple 1 row Horizontal motorized Pano Head

I need to shoot 1 row of Vertical DSLR images (Lots of scenes).
Currently I'm using a Nodal Ninja NN180 on a tripod... and I need to go motorized or maybe even a mono pole.

Any thoughts?

I'm not an expert... but it sounds like the html file for one is corrupt. Sometimes I have had issues getting panos to work on my site... but my web master has fixed them in the past. Sometimes the HTML file refers to files that are in a different location or name than the "Real" files are. Why I do...

At the time all I wanted to do was get a single pano into Flash VR format to put it on-line. Pano2VR does that easily. But....I could never head my head around the Pano2VR Skin Editor to create hotspots and link together several panos to make a virtual tour. It seemed quite counterintuitive to me a...

The camera will be a D700+50mm

How do you plan to get the D700 to do HDR by 2EV's?
Best I can get is 1EV.

Thanks Klaus for the information. I get my lens tomorrow and I'll be running extensive tests on it and then decide what I want to do.

Let me know how the slanted mount goes... I was going to try that myself.

- and i agree it´s good @f:8 and definitely not good @f:2.8 especially in the outer ranges when used shaved on a FF - lots of CA. At least F:8 then is a must and f:11 is preferable. best, Klaus Klaus, I would love to hear from someone who has a shaved Nikon 10.5... You sound like you may have used...

Auto Collection Tour

About 9 months ago or so... someone posted a Pano in a thread of a Auto collection/Museum that they shot. The Museum had several floors of cars that you could see from the main floor.

I wanted to see that again but I can't find it even in the gallery. Does anyone know where it is?

Thanks.

Many thanks Andrew and Klaus for all your incite. I think for my immediate needs a 10.5 is my best bet right now and I have one on its way to me. I intend to fully test it at various F stops, etc and see what I can get away with even if I have to process in LightRoom 3. I'll post my unprocessed and ...

Nice shot. I've shot many Aurora 1 hr north of Fairbanks Alaska at Chena Hot Springs Resort in the Wilderness... talk about a dark spot... and another great dark spot about 35 Minutes North of Fairbanks at Ski Land Mt. Thanks guys... that's all good. I understand the resolution issue. I already have a 12-24mm DX F3.5-5.6. I have needs where resolution is not that big of a deal, but speed of taking images is or I don't get the shot. I'm also looking at the F2.8 for low light stuff where all objects are at the same ...

You could use a 'shaved' Nikkor 10.5mm FE or a 'shaved' Tokina 10-17mm zoom FE: Or a Nikkor 16mm fisheye which will be fullframe (180 degrees diagonal FOV) on your fullframe body: Andrew... I'm confused. Would not a 'shaved' Nikkor 10.5mm ED DX Fisheye, give me more FOV than the Nikkor 16mm fisheye...

One thing I discovered... If I want to re-render a pano so I can change things to see how it will look or make corrections... I must close that Pano Proj and create a new proj or it will automatically overwrite the existing file. I say we need a user pop-up that gives us an option to save to a new f...

I just saw a Post somewhere (I can't find it now) where someone said that "Mobility Devices" option does not work for hotspots.

Is this true?
What other limitations are there? (besides needing a full 360x180 image).

HTML5 and "Mobility Devices".

I heard that HTML 5 is out or will be shortly. One of the key design HTML 5 features was to allow swf files to be played without the need of a "Flash" player" especially on "Mobility Devices".

Can anyone comment on this?

Thanks Andrew. That's exactly what I need sometimes to fix things.
Also... this may solve a project where I want to add objects to a Pano after it's shot.

Great feature.
