Hi Klaus You're right, tours with loads of multigigapixel images do maybe not really make sense, but tours which have 1 or 2 really high resolution pictures are from my point of view a very realistic scenario. A tour with a huge overview entry panorama with a lot of details plus a bunch of somewhat ...

Feature req.: Workflow improvments for using APG and APT with large

APG does a excellent job aligning and stitching large multi gigapixel panoramas. Unfortunately the capabilities and workflow to publish those large panoramas or even tours of large panoramas with APT do not match APGs other capabillities. The following extra features would be most helpful to improve...

It worked very well for 1 gigapixel panorama, but there seems to be a problem with higher resolutions.

Anyhow I'll get in touch with Klaus to find out what he thinks.

Hi John Thanks for the hint. I've downloaded the beta of the pano tool and tried to convert the PSB file. Makemultires accepted the file and worked for quite a while. At the end I got tiles with very psychedelic colors (see picture). Since I'm not planing to produce pictures for a really spacy audie...

Well, I tought having APT importing the KRO files would solve my highres problems, but there seem to be problems with large files. Today, I've been able to stitch a 540pics panorama with a total resolution of 141500*41000 successfully. The pano is now a 21.5 gb-file on my hard drive. When I try to i...

Thanks for the KRO hint. Even though APT doesn't show KRO as a supported image format in the file selection dialog, I have now been able to import a partial panorama in KRO format. Unfortunately I immedately bumped into the next problems: 1. APT doesn't accept any horizontal size larger than 41415 p...

APT and large Pano

Hi Could someone please advise me how to handle large panos in APT. Autopano Giga refuses to save my large panorama in any other format than PSB (TIFF and PNG complains about max 2Gigs filesize, JPG about to much resolution). So I have to save to panorama as PSB. It is really strange that APT doesn'...

Will APT 1.1 also allow for higher output resolutions when used with krpano?

The current resolution limits are really a showstopper for me. I want to work with resolutions >1 Gigapixel.
