APG Crashes on Launch [SOLVED]

I had to reformat and reinstall my OS and revert back to Win7 from Win10 (perhaps the worst piece of software MS has created, yes, maybe even worse than ME and Vista). Also, obviously, have had to reinstall all my software applications. Running Win7 SP1, with all updates completed, 16GB of RAM, AMD ...

Re: Non-rotating tour w/hotspot overlays

Any hints on how best to go about it?

Non-rotating tour w/hotspot overlays

I want to do a non-rotating type of tour. What I'd like to do is stitch a pano (or use a fisheye lens) then add a number of hotspots which will link to other images and have those images appear on top of the pano when a hotspot is clicked. So the pano/fisheye image would be used as a wide angle pers...

No. I do have clients. However I have real clients, not Apple fanboys. I have real clients who have needs beyond the Apple fanboy. That aside, Panotour has been around a lot longer than the pissing contest between Apple and Adobe over Flash. They didn't put the feature in even when Apple supported F...

Who cares about 'iDevices'? Not me. I couldn't give a rat's patootie about Apple devices or Apple users. Android can use Flash, so yes, such tours can be viewed on Android devices. All that aside, you're putting forward another red herring. As I said, if you've got a valid argument to make, make it....

I am using Pro but not doing any programming. Not spending any more money either. For what APG and PTP cost, there shouldn't be a need to buy anything else. Then I think you will have to wait for the release of PTP V2.x which is expected to offer the feature you seek. And if that's the case, so be ...

Move automatically to next image

I'm building a tour with 4 images. I've got it set up to start rotation immediately. I want the tour to move automatically from one image to the next. So I'd like each image to start at the left side, pan left to right then automatically transition to the next image. I've looked in the documentation...

Saved Layers Are Not Different Exposures

I've created a set of layers in APG and in the Render dialogue chose %L to save the layers for blending later in Photomatix. The layers were saved but all the layers appear to be of the final blended image. I've selected Group by Stack and Group by Brakcet because the shutter speeds are not consiste...

Did you open the link to the additional images, Georg? In one of those images, it appears that the camera can go into portrait (vertical) orientation. This too is a question I've posed to the folks at Link Delight.

I think you can, but am not positive. I believe the plates slide back and forth to allow for that type of adjustment. I've got a question in to them to confirm.

Link Delight Pano Head

Anybody using the Link Delight Pano Head ? I've bought other things from them in the past and been quite happy with them. A pano head is a bit more complex piece of kit so wondering if anyone else has tried it. Like a lot of the stuff they sell, it appears to be a take off on the Manfrotto version. ...

Yeah, OK, Klaus. I'm about ready to tell you what you can do with your patience. I'd do it here but it would probably be a banning offence. Would you like me to send you a private message? Or email?

Although, as noted, I don't like buying software without being able to try out the full functionality, I'll go get a license for APG + KRPano. Will play with that. If it works, great. Will re-download PT Pro (uninstalled it) and play with that as well.

Current version of APG. Not sure what previous version I'd tried in the 32 bit environment. I said similar. Not same. Is this forum always so pedantic?

Klaus, I read the screen. I said I didn't make the association due to a misunderstanding of the relationship of the different applications.

Looked at the PT Pro and it has similar restrictions so a license will have to be purchased regardless.

I'm fairly happy with APG now that I'm on 64 bit. Trying it previously in 32 bit it was very crash prone and buggy.

I saw that, yes. I guess I didn't make the connection as to the need for the KR Pano license and thought that was some additional extended feature. I'm an end user. I'm a photographer. I'm not a software engineer.

Trials only at this point. I'd prefer to be able to test out the features before buying. It's unusual for a trial (and particularly a beta) to be feature-limited. Watermarked is common.

That's the version that I got when I downloaded. Not sure why a beta version has features disabled but if it does, it does.
